I purchased the Cosori CAF-LI211 Mini Air Fryer 2 months ago. So far, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! In fact, I am trying to remember what my life was like more than 2 months ago, before I owned this little Cosori. This size is perfect for one person. I cannot imagine it would be large enough for 2 persons, but it depends how much they eat, I guess. I have minimal counter space in my kitchen, so I don’t have the space for anything larger. I have to store this Mini in the pantry and put it on the countertop to use, which is not a problem at all, it’s very lightweight to move around, but it’s not completely tiny, so does take up some space.

It is VERY easy to clean. Sometimes all that’s needed is to dump out any “crumbs” left behind, then wipe with a paper towel. Other times, just put the cooking basket in the sink, squirt a few drops of Dawn detergent in there, fill with hot water and swish around, then after a few minutes dump it out and rinse with hot water and either air dry or wipe dry with dish towel. Soooo easy. The non-stick surface of the cooking basket is wonderful.

I use my Cosori mini at least once daily, but sometimes multiple times per day. Saying I LOVE it is an understatement!! Alot of what I cook in the Mini fryer can also be cooked in a countertop toaster oven – I have a Breville Smart Pro countertop Convection oven; however, as great as that Breville is, if what I want to eat fits inside the Cosori’s cooking basket, I’ll use the Cosori because there, food cooks faster than the Breville, turns out crispier and is less mess. And probably uses less energy too. (but I do love my Breville, too and couldn’t live without it either!)

I am attaching a few photos to show the types of things I like to cook in this Cosori mini. Nothing complicated. These are things that can be bought in any grocery store, already cut up and frozen, in bags or boxes. All these things turn out very well in the Cosori mini fryer. What’s not pictured, but that I cook often, are brussel sprouts, french fries and single burger patties that come in a box or bag (personally, I eat only the plant-based stuff, but a real meat patty/burger could be cooked in it too)

Before I ordered my Cosori mini, I did read ALL the reviews and saw that some folks had a problem with a piece of the cooking basket breaking off, therefore rendering the entire fryer unusable because the basket would no longer lock in place. This apparently happened to several people. I would be sick if this happened to mine, but, the Cosori has a 2-year warranty, so I’m keeping my purchase receipt and all records and I’ll be *on* the manufacturer if this should happen to my Cosori. Being forewarned of this possible breakage, I handle the basket gently when pulling it out or inserting it back into the fryer.

I do HIGHLY recommend this mini fryer, after using it every single day for 2 months straight.

Works as intended. Easy to use and to clean. Perfect for 1 serving at a time. Food comes out perfect every time. I use primarily for fish.

I love that it has digital controls, that the rack insert fits snugly, that it doesn’t take up too much counter space in my small kitchen, that it isn’t very annoyingly loud like the first one I bought and wore out years ago, and that it has no annoying new product smell, and that I just tried it out on wonton and onion ring appetizers and it works perfectly. I like this company!

I use this thing about daily. It looks beautiful and works flawlessly. Super easy to use. Only downside is the size. It is pretty small so can really only fit one portion size, but I knew it was compact when I bought it and works just fine for one or two people!

The COSORI Air Fryer Compact 2.1Qt is fantastic! It’s the ideal size for small kitchens and offers 4-in-1 functionality—reheat, bake, roast, and air fry. Food comes out crispy with 97% less oil. The nonstick, dishwasher-safe basket makes cleanup easy. Plus, the 30 in-app recipes are a great bonus. Highly recommended!

I purchased the Cosori mini air fryer because of its small size. I decided on the Cosori because it’s probably the smallest overall size and I leave my fryer out on the counter. I have used the fryer first time to cook Trader J’s potatoes bell pepper and onion, the potatoes turned out great, onions slightly overcooked because they were cut too fine (delicate) – it will take a bit of learning curve as the air frying temp default is at 400 degrees and what you are cooking. For my first use, I’m happy with the results, it works well. One last thing, the instructions tell you to keep the back of the fryer 5 inches away from a wall as there is a air vent in back to allow proper air circulation, all fryers have similar requirements.

There are a few 2 quart air fryers available on Amazon. You can search best mini/smallest air fryers or view a video by “Just a Dads Video” entitled Best Mini Air Fryer 2 Quart Comparison NINJA, INSTANT, COSORI, DASH Back To School. A good comparison of four mini fryers available and has 3 of the more popular brands in the review.

      The Basket Dimensions (D x W x H): 5.9 x 6.2 x 3.5 in, it’s small but great for single and couple…small but consider what you will be cooking…..

This air fryer is exactly as advertised. It works well and quickly, clean up is super easy, and it beats heating up the oven for one or two servings of something like roasted vegetables. If you’re looking for something that can make multiple servings at once, this isn’t for you, but it’s perfect for one or two people.

So far I’ve used it mainly for roasting vegetables, for which it works quite well. I’ve also used it to bake frozen biscuits, to heat up and cook frozen fish, and to heat up and brown frozen samosas. With preheating, I’m done in under 20 minutes.

It’s taken a little trial and error to find the exact time and temperature I want to use for different items, but that’s been easy enough to do. I want more information about cooking specific items than the brochure gives, but there are quite a few options on the internet if you’re wondering about a particular item or recipe. Next experiment will be homemade goat cheese fritters.

Clean up is simple: let it cool, put some hot soapy water in the basket with the grid, wash and rinse. The inner surfaces are non-stick so they clean quite easily. It can also go in the dishwasher but it’s easier for me to just hand wash it and put it back in the air fryer.

I’ve only used the air fryer mode and the bake mode. I haven’t tried reheat or roast.

It takes up a relatively small amount of counter space, which is important to me because my counter space is limited. It has a roughly 8″ by 7.5″ footprint.

The cost was great, about $25.

Safety issue: please note that you have to either put this where it has at least 5″ air circulation on all sides and on top, or be able to pull it out to a position where it has that. I do the latter and then just push it back into its space on the back of the counter when I’m done. I also don’t leave it plugged in when I’m not using it, but I don’t believe that was in the safety instructions. It’s just my preference.

If you’re looking for a small efficient air fryer, I highly recommend this one.

I’m a full-time Vanlifer and have held off buying one of: Microwave, Instapot, Ninja Air Fryer Oven, or a small Air Fryer. I have limited storage space but wanted something that would be flexible with meal prep. This little Air Fryer fits the bill for me with its Air Fryer and Roast options. I bought the paper liners and there’s really no limit to what I can cook in this little powerhouse from Frozen food, to reheating, “grilling” salmon, making Toast, vegetables, any thing you can make in an oven basically you can make with this air fryer. And it takes up very little space plus I can store it in my headliner (Sprinter Van). Best kitchen purchase I’ve made. Delicious meals off-grid or on!

    9. Debbie

This little air fryer is great. Yes, it’s small but it’s perfect for 1 person. I’ve used it almost every day since getting it a few days ago. It’s very easy to use. Easy to clean. And it’s very quiet. ❤️

Several years ago I bought a small air fryer (very limited counter space in my efficiency) but I didn’t like it and gave it away. Then I tried a Nuwave 12-in-1 Air Fryer/Convention
Oven and not only was it too bulky, but it ate up too much power and the manual wasn’t the best written. I ended up using a $200. unit to toast my frozen waffles every morning instead of what I bought it for. A few months ago, I bought a small air fryer/5- in 1 convection oven and It’s better than the large unit and I use it more than the larger unit, but it’s too shallow when I try to air fry certain meats (the meat’s too close to the top burner).
This Cosori unit is perfect for me in so many ways and it works wonderfully! I actually look forward to cooking again so I’m eating healthier and I’m starting to feel better than I was before. I hated cooking because it’s so time consuming, but that’s not the case with this Air fryer. I look forward to cooking and prepping my meals every day now. I also bought an air fryer cooking guide (magnetic backing) from Momo & Nashi and that’s taken a lot of guesswork out of the temperature and cooking times for me. This Air Fryer’s definitely worth every penny.
