I’m a big shrimp eater. Costco sells tempura shrimp at good prices and the best way to cook them is with an air fryer. This air fryer is easy to use and just the right size for an RV.

Perfect size for my university dorm room space! Cooks for 1-2 persons give or take. Great for quick meals especially when I don’t want to be in the shared kitchen (I do A LOT of meals especially breakfast in this air fryer) Very easy to use and clean. I love the fact that it’s so sleek and has a timer so it shuts off when the timer has stopped . It can be a bit loud but that doesn’t bother me really. Be careful not to fill it to capacity because the basket is shallow and then the food touches the heating ring and burns and I can’t seem to be able to get rid of the burnt piece completely because the ring is built into the air fryer. So now whenever I use it sometimes it smells as though there’s something burning which I can admit was my fault for over stuffing the basket. Otherwise it heats up very quickly and cooks food evenly.
PRO tip: wrap the removable tray in aluminum foil paper and dispose of it if you don’t want to wash the entire basket every single time, it also speeds up cooking time 🙂
It’s definitely worth it, it’s not too heavy so it’s easy to move around and great quality. Definitely my favorite appliance right now!

I already have a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and Pressure Cooker, and I wanted a small air fryer to make something quick and leave the Foodi for bigger items and this Instant Vortex delivers! The footprint is small, so I was easily able to find space on my space-deficient kitchen and even if you have to stow it away, it’s so small and easy to bring out to use. It heats to 400 degrees and has bake, roast, and pre-heat settings. The rotary dial is all you need to control it (along with some touch sensitive buttons), and it looks very sleek. But how does it air fry? I’ve so far made fries, pizza rolls, and my own karaage fried chicken and so far it has worked like a charm! All came out crispy as expected. It gets plenty hot and makes it so easy to air fry things with such an easy cleaning chore. All you need to clean is the basket, the removable grill, and then wipe down the area where you place the basket. That’s easy! Easy to clean as it’s all non-stick surfaces – just wait until it cools down before doing any of this.
I totally recommend this for folks that want a small air fryer. It’s great for families of 1 or 2 (though you won’t be cooking racks of ribs in this) or if you want to supplement your larger air fryer and save that for larger projects. Especially if you have those air fryer and pressure cooker combos.
The price is very hard to beat. $45.
