Our first air fryer finally crapped out, so it was time to get a new one and I chose this one. I really like the way the doors open and the way you can just the racks up and down. It really works well.

This is my second small oven, and even though I paid more for the previous one, this one is so superior in quality, cooking options and resulting food taste! I’m real happy with this purchase since it’s used on a daily basis for more than one meal.

This is my first air fryer and I love it. The only thing I would have changed in my purchase is a little bigger one to be able to place more items in at once.

I love it—-it’s compact and does not take up your whole countertop. The air fryer, toaster, and bake functions are extremely efficient. Easy to clean.
I really like thT it does not have push button controls, it heats up quickly and cooks evenly.

Had door gasket issues immediately. Manufactured replaced the whole unit after a lengthy wait. I am somewhat satisfied with that process.
However, this air fryer/oven/etc is not a very good air fryer. It seems to do most of the cooking with direct heat vs circulation of hot air. The fan sounds weak vs the internal volume of the air fryer.
This is compared to the typical basket style air fryer. Which has a fan that moves a lot of air vs internal volume.
My next issue lies in the fact it’s nearly impossible to utilize the large internal volume of this unit. As you must use a basket, tray or rack in one of the three slots. Unless you find a way to stack food bottom to top, this air fryer actually holds less then a typical basket style air fryer.
My first unit was very inaccurate on temperature but the new one appears to be adequate.
Overall, not very impressed. I suggest buying the largest basket type air fryer you can find, if you’re looking for volume. This unit is nice looking, full featured but less useful then a typical basket style air fryer, if air frying is your goal.

I have never been more disappointed with a purchase. I thought because of the reviews this would be a good purchase. I did lots of research and Chefman was considered a superior product. I was a bit concerned when the internal light went out for good. I looked up online how to replace it… seemed like it would be an easy chore…but even all the DIY sites said this was a difficult bulb to replace because of how the manufacturer put the oven together.
We were less than pleased with the “toasting” of the oven. The “medium” setting yielded just warm bread. the dark setting did little more. And I like dark toast. I overlooked that…
Then today… the whole unit stopped working. I had put in some veggies for the air fryer. I opened the door to check them (because you can’t see through the glass because the light is out) and when I closed the door: silence. The air fryer usually made a loud fan noise… but now… it was dead.
I will never (and I advise you) buy a chefman oven again.

I ordered this intending to use it in the camp trailer. but this has turned out to be the handiest tool in the kitchen! Great for a quick lunch or dinner…easy to use and the food tastes great. I love how it airfries frozen fish fillets….they taste as good as any restaurant serves, and better than most! Much more efficient and doesn’t heat up the kitchen on these warm days like the oven does. Clean up is quick and easy. Very happy with this purchase.

I have been using this appliance for 3 months. The air fry feature is amazing, we especially like asparagus or string beans done that way. There is plenty of room to bake chicken or a pork loin. For the first time last week, I tried to toast a bagel. The toast feature does not work! Simply doesn’t turn on. I reached out to the manufacturer and never heard back. The device is so wonderful, in every other way, but it’s ironic that something advertised, in part, as a toaster oven…doesn’t toast. Had to purchase a small toaster for our occasional bagels. Bummer.

It’s easy to use, convenient as far as size, but I never thought I would write a negative comment about a product., The toast cycle is practically nonexistent because if you try to toast a piece of bread on the light setting, the bread is just warmed up! Put it on medium or dark setting, the bread is only toasted on one side. Then I wanted to broil steak, the heating element on the top did not come, so my steak was baked! The baking selection doesn’t seem to work as it should either. The redeeming quality is that the air fry works well, tho, however a little slow and not heating up very well either. I do like the size, tho; it fits my small countertop very well! If I still had the box, I would send it back to Chefman!

Looks good, seems to work okay so far.
Those who say the toast function doesn’t work, keep reading.
I purchased this specifically to fit in my 15″ wide x 14″ tall appliance garage, It sticks out a bit too far to close the garage door, but I plan to use it daily. Hopefully the heat does not discolor the cabinets over time. It does not seem to get super hot on the exterior when in use, but I have not ran it more than 15 minutes at a time so far. Thankfully it doesn’t have a super dorky weird-sounding brand name like so many Amazon products, since it is on display in my kitchen.
I am happy that it seems to have all mechanical controls, meaning no circuit boards to randomly stop working. I peeked through the vent slots in the back, and no circuit boards could be seen.
It has 2 mechanical timers, one timer for the oven/air fry functions and one timer for the toaster function.
The construction quality seems decent, stainless finish doesn’t have any dents, door opens smoothly, knobs feel smooth and sturdy, seems to heat up fairly quickly. Interior light is manually operated with a button, and light it is bright. I am concerned the bulb will burn out like so many other reviews mention, but right now it seems to work fine. There is no instructions on bulb replacement in the manual.
To the reviewers who say the toast function does not work, try this: the toast function on my brand new unit didn’t function until I noticed that the temperature knob must be turned fully clockwise to 450 deg F for TOAST/BROIL. It has a mark on the temperature dial at 450 Deg F for “TOAST/BROIL”, but it is easily overlooked.
To use Toast:
Set mode knob to TOAST (5 o’clock on the mode knob).
Set temperature to max 450 Deg F TOAST (3 o’clock on the temperature knob).
Set the right timer knob TOAST TIMER to the desired time ( light, med, dark, or 10 minutes max).
Toaster works fine for me if I do the above steps.
Hopefully it will keep working for years to come…time will tell.
