      (1) great coffee
      (2) I expect it will be easy to clean, because the reservoir is removable. The old Keurig grew mold in its fixed reservoir, which was nasty.
      (3) Kind of noisy. The old Keurig let the water dribble into the heating station. Very quiet. This one keeps water in the reservoir until I push the “brew” button. I like that. But when I “brew” the machine sucks the water from the reservoir, it is a bit noisy.
      (4) the “brewing” flashing arc is pretty hard to see flashing is taking place. The light flashes from medium white to bright white, which is not much of a contrast. But then, the “brewing” light isn’t something I tend to look at in the first place.
      (5) The end of brewing is also kind of noisy, as the last drops are pushed through the K-cup.
      (6) Noticeably slower, overall. I feel the water heats faster, but that the actual brewing is slower. It wasn’t important enough to dig out my timer.
Final thoughts: better and worse that the old machine. Most important, the coffee tastes great. Hoping cleaning is easier, when the time comes.

I had this Kuerig since January of 2019. Since I had enough time to use it, I decided to write a review now. First, the instruction for this Kuerig is simple and to the point, which is what I like. However, like others I had problems with brewing after just a few months. After countless google searches, I was able to figure out a lot of the problems that occurred. So to help others out let me save you the headache and explain some troubles you will have and how to fix it. So the first thing to understand is the Kuerig will definitely clog if you have hard water. This will result in half filled cups, no water coming out, and in the worst case, water flowing back into the reservoir causing the water to overflow the Kuerig spilling water all over the place. To fix this, fill the reservoir half way with white vinegar, and fill the rest of the reservoir with water. Get a large mug, and I mean large. Because when you brew the vinegar-water mixture, it will remove the calcium build up in the water hose, and this will cause any trapped water in the hose to come out, producing more water than what you added. So make sure it’s a large cup or mug. Then add clean water to the reservoir and brew again to remove the vinegar-water mixture. Keep in mind you may have to do this more than once. The second issue you can come across is the Kuerig will work but coffee won’t brew, and all you get is water. This is caused by clogged needles. Just remove the cup that hold the k-cups and wash it out with soap and water. I also found that the reason this happens is because my husband would leave the k-cup in the Kuerig after brewing, and by the next morning when it’s time to brew again, the needles will be clogged. So make sure to remove the k-cups after brewing. Overall, I like the convenience of this machine. We had a regular coffee maker for a long time, but never finished all the coffee. With a coffee maker, it was always a trial and error method when finding out how much coffee to add, which always ended with us wasting coffee. Using this prevents us from wasting coffee, and when we switch to the reusable k-cup, we also save on wasted plastic. In other words, we are pretty happy with this thing.

Design of this mini keurig coffee maker is PERFECT for new butler pantry! I ordered in white… the slim design looks chic – while being functional.

I had ordered new coffee mugs and had not checked the height: they were too tall for my OLD keuerig! Rather than returning then new mugs, saw this new mini-keurig…. and decided time for me to replace bulkier, older, black keurig. Perfection!

      Updated review:
I dealt with issue explained below In my original review for awhile and then finally got around to calling Keurig Customer Care on 23-July… AWESOME experience! First, expecting to hold 5-10 mins to get thru, nope, they answered immediately! Literally a zero second wait time! Rep was great – feel bad now for not catching her name(or asking again at the end)…she listened to my issue without interrupting me, then asked a few questions/ walked me thru some trouble shooting steps. Then had me “brew” a cup (no pod) and it worked as designed, we waited a couple minutes and “brewed” another…and the issue occurred again…pulled in about an ounce of water and quit. Fast forward the story…my new machine is already being shipped under their warranty!

Since we love the machine (slim, easy to put away for those like us who don’t like it on the counter 24×7, and brews a nice hot cup), since they offer great customer service and stand behind their warranty without tons of hoops to jump thru, I’m back to rating as 5 stars. We know plenty of people with various Keurig machines who have never had a problem, so chalking this one I had up as an anomaly. I’ll follow up if any concerns with the replacement.

      Original Review at 10-months:
Purchased 1-Aug-2019 and now in June 2020 we are experiencing issues… it will work fine sometimes but other times it doesn’t. It started in May were it worked 90% of the time but now in June it’s a 50/50 chance. When it doesn’t work, it will only draw in an ounce or two of the water and then just stop. It takes several times of pushing the start/brew button over 15-20 minutes before it pulls in all the water, heats up and dispenses. The last two mornings this issues started with the very first brew of the day. And 20+ minutes later when it did finally dispense, it was only a half cup (but all of the water had finally been drawn into the unit).

When it works properly we love it. Easy to use and clean. But it appears that the overall quality – in terms of longevity – isn’t there.

Maybe we just got a bad one, so watch for other reviews provide at/near the 1 year mark, because 3 months in I would have highly recommended this model…. now I’m backing away from that recommendation unfortunately.

Love the color! Perfect size – not too large or too small. Has an extra button on top if you prefer stronger coffee. Very pleased!

I’ve owned several Keurigs in the past, including the ill fated Vue. I like this unit the best of all of them. But you have to understand it intended use and how it works to appreciate it.

1st, it doesn’t pre-heat and stay hot like the bigger, multi-person units, when they are simply turned on. It only starts to heat when you press the big brew button. Once it’s done with the brew the heater turns off, meaning it needs to pre-heat again for any additional cups.

2nd, after you press the brew button, you have to be patient as, unlike the multi-person, larger and more expensive units, it has to heat the cold water. For me and my cold tap water, this takes just under 3 minutes before the cup is complete. In the end, this unit is much more energy efficient as it isn’t always heating when simply turned on.

4rd, if you are a single or maybe two person coffee household, this unit is perfect. If you have 3 or more drinkers or throw a lot of gatherings where coffee would be served, the bigger and more expensive multi-cup units would be better for you.

What sets this unit apart from others is :
      1) It’s really small and doesn’t take up much counter space, built-in cord storage and coffee bin are nice as well
      2) It’s really easy to keep clean, as there aren’t a dozen things to take apart to clean or difficult places to try and shove paper towel into.
      3) Does a good hot cup of coffee, no need to adjust temperature as it’s comes up too hot to drink right away… Like a coffee maker should!
      4) Water bin is easy to add/remove, easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to dry – compared to the multi-cup makers
      5) Unlike other makers, the design is clean, modern, yet simple and doesn’t have stupid curves or wasted spaces. This makes the unit easy to add water, brew, use and clean comparably
      6) The design is so efficient that there’s not a single drip, at least for me, once the brew is done. I’m used to other Keurigs which drip for a minute or two afterwards.

The one design issue that affects impatient people is that the brew LED seems to have no rime or reason. You really can’t rely on it to determine what step it is in during the brew. I just press the brew button, verify the LED is no longer solid for a couple seconds and walk away for a few minutes or listen for the empty air sound that occurs at the end of the brew cycle if I’m in the kitchen doing other things.

In the end I highly recommend this maker for single or dual-household coffee drinkers or those who drink coffee irregularly. However, if you are an impatient person who can’t value a small, easy to maintain, energy efficient coffee maker with a simple design, you will hate this coffee maker. It’s coffee people, not rocket science. The quality and age of the coffee and pod design/filter are the most important factors. The coffee maker just disperses a controlled amount of hot water to the overall process. In this last factor, I find this unit to excel.

Well I got this new fangled coffee maker because I was tired of my old fashioned stove top glass coffee maker . This Keurig is narrow and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. That’s why I chose it primarily. It has just a few buttons. Be patient as you learn how to use . I did finally figure out how to get a cup of coffee out of it. The coffee is hot but cools fast. Its Seems like each time I use it I’m trying to remember the sequence to get a cup of coffee. it’s a one cup deal which works for me. Spatters all over the place as it comes..Coffee was good. I used a reusable kcup. Nice feature if you want to change it out you can.

I’ve had two different Keurigs and used many others over the years, so I knew what I preferred in a replacement when my last one stopped working properly.

I wanted one that’s easy to clean and energy efficient, so I didn’t want one with a big reservoir. They’re harder to keep clean, and I’m not keen on using water that’s been sitting out. From what I’ve read, those don’t let you brew unless it’s more than half full – even when there’s plenty for a cup. That means, either you dump what was left (wasting water) or top it off. Either way, constantly leaving water in it leads to bacterial growth and mineral deposits which require more frequent cleaning than the small per-use reservoir like this Keurig. To me, it’s not worth the trade-off.

With this machine, I simply pour in enough filtered water for a cup of coffee. The removable reservoir is a nice feature (and wide, rather than narrow & deep, making it easy to clean). I’ve removed it to fill for a brew & had no issue with it but find it easier to just use a measuring cup.

The larger res versions also tend to keep the water heated constantly, which is how they manage to brew a cup so quickly. It’s fairly wasteful, especially since we only use this for 2 cups a day, and it’s still only about 2 min.

As some reviewers say, it is a bit noisy at the end of the brew – louder than my older one-cup models – but honestly nothing to complain about and quickly done. The functionality is a huge improvement over the older models. Add your water & your k-cup (in any order, unlike the old ones) and press the big button. This is much easier to clean, as well. And more attractive.

I do not find the pod storage container to be useful, so it just takes up space in my cabinet for now. Even if I used normal k-cups, I feel like it would be too small & fiddly for storage. I adore San Fransisco Bay OneCUP pods – just as easy & no plastic. And the taste is amazing – check them out.

Kerig received with coupons that expired May 2023, a red flag. It would not work, trouble shooting done by manufacturer. Findings were defective purchase with an expired warranty. This happened the day item was received. Asked to send pics of pot with my name, date of purchase on paper in front of pot, model number, copy of proof of purchase, copy of post office tracking and delivery. Told no need to return, trash or recycle. After pics were received, immediately received email the info ie pics were not acceptable. Upon receiving Kerig a replacement would be sent. Followed by request for my physical address (I use PO Box) as UPS would pic item up at place of abode. I then receive email with bar code to use at Staples to return via UPS. So today after inconsistencies I’m going to Stables hopefully for a successful return. Problem is at manufacture in that they mail item not Amazon. They do not check model numbers, warranty expirations, and sell useless items. Poor PR for consumers. Forgot to mention the troubleshooter asked if had K pod in pot. Answered no, and stated per directions one is to first run water through FIRST before making first cup of coffee.

Today February 1, 2024 I received email your Kerig is on the way. Unfortunately to physical address and not mailing address. I have PO Box for safety, live in multi apartment building where others take packages of others. This was explained in detail when they requested physical address. First Kerig was mailed to PO Box, so why not replacement?? If it is stolen as many packages are I’m in for more corespondency, and will request refund to charge card used for payment.

Replacement Kerig mailed Monday of this week via UPS and received today Wednesday. The coffee maker works fine and I like the upgrade, btw no additional cost. It comes with large water reservoir so no need to add water for each cup. When warm weather come will try ice coffee feature, I’m sure it will work fine too. It took some time to resolve issue but it is now resolved. I would purchase Kerig products again, good maker, and customer support is accommodating.

I like that it’s compact and easy to brew just a cup but it spashes tiny droplets around. It’s clearly visible on the white model and countertop. Storage container is useless, the little bumper feet keeps falling off. I removed it completely. I will buy a nice container for storing the pods.
