Super cute, I love that is so easy to clean. It heats the water very fast. I like that the pot is cordless. The light likes very nice when warming the water. It is easy to clean. A couple of my friends got one after seeing mine.

Automatic shutoff doesn’t work most of the time. Luckily we’re always here when it’s in use so, not a horrible problem. Other than that, it’s really nice looking.

Wish there was a way to turn off the blue light, which I think looks silly. But otherwise it works great and heats up water very fast. I love that it’s glass so I can see the progress of the heating, and pick it up at just the right time!

I just got this item and I do love the look of it (which is why I bought it).. The Hamilton Beach logo on mine has been moved from the bottom to the top middle near the spout where you pour its contents.. I would have given it 5 stars. However as far as I see it..
They went cheap on the design..
The handle feels like mid grade cheap plastic.. They should’ve put some rubber gripping on it to give it a more finished look, also that long washer between the kettle and the handle.. is also plastic painted to look like stainless steel and the edges have slight imperfections that although not seen a far can be noticed when someone is admiring the piece.
-Dec 22/2017 – this is an update for this machine.. Like 2 or 3 days after use I started getting fine lime spots with a bit of rust on the bottom. Which it happens when you leave water on the kettle but I didn’t think they would happen this fast.. I would recommend that when you first use the kettle you boil vinegar to season the pot.. After I did this I have left water on the kettle over night a few times and this somehow has put a shield on it that has prevented this from happening..
(I’ve seen a few other Hamilton Beach Glass Kettles out in stores since I bought this one about 6months and this is the better design)

This was quite a nice electric kettle. I gave it 2 Stars because the on and off switch did not work. It forced me to have to hold it down for at least three to five minutes before it would lock in place. Might have just been a faulty one but it’s still wasted my time. I absolutely returned it immediately.

Looks pretty. The blue lights are the last thing you might see before your kitchen burns down.
This has about a 50/50 chance of shutting when reaching a boil. If it doesn’t, it will boil off all the water and still stay on. Terrible safety feature: one that works half the time.
Edit: I hadn’t read the reviews before ordering. It appears the fault shut off is a widespread issue. For the price, I’m going back to Oster which is what I had before relocating.

I was recommended this product and love love love it!!! I use it daily for tea, my kids use it to make hot cocoa and ramen noodles, I use it to thaw out and heat frozen breast milk for my grandson, and use it in cooking to add hot water to soups or dissolving jellos.

We have had this for a few weeks. Love the glass pot. You can see if you are getting any mineral buildup. You can also get your hand in to clean this pot very easily. I also love the blue lights on it. This pot also shuts off about a minute after it hits a full boil. This is nice because the kitchen and cuboards do not steam up.
