My husband and a friend installed this microwave above or stove in around 2 ish hours. It works great and was a very reasonable price.

The microwave has a lot of features you expected of an over the range microwave. The package I received was damaged but I hoped the actual item was ok but sadly it was dented as well on both sides of the microwave. My handyman installed it anyway as none of the damages were visible once installed. Plus the microwave still functions perfectly fine.

Great appliance great price. No fancy options or wiFi capabilities that you just dont need. It heats your food, has a spinning center dish all easily removable and easy to clean. Install was very easy. Comes with a full size template you can tape to the wall and mark mounting locations. Very pleased. Replaced our last one we had for 25 years.

Had this microwave installed professionally late yesterday afternoon. Looks good and matches the other appliances I have. However, the door on the microwave sounds like “an empty aluminum can” when it is shut, and the shutting makes an extremely loud noise. We thought felt pads on inside of door might work to quiet it down, however instructions advise to add nothing to the inside door area. I am in process of getting the packing box back and will return to Amazon. So disappointed Black and Decker would put out such a tinny and flimsy microwave!! I had my old microwave for 23 years. It was damaged when we had a power outage and the surge, when it came back on, blew something inside. I had to replace it. I went online to try to find another white microwave. This is the only white one I could find. B & D has an excellent reputation so I wasn’t worried about purchasing it. However, in comparison with my old Kenmore, the door feels flimsy and the down lights are not as bright, but it does an excellent job of heating food and that’s why I like it. It’s cheaper to buy than most microwaves listed. I’m definitely glad I bought it.

This is a great replacement for the microwave we had which stopped working! It vents to the outside, with the lights and exhaust inlets on the underneath like the GE we had.. Very good buy, same power level. We missed the convenience of a microwave! Had to have two people to install which I found on the Nextdoor app.. so far we’re loving it! We’ve had it only for a week now but excellent so far.

Finally had to replace my GE Spacemaker (after 30 years) so after much research, settled on this Black and Decker. Microwaves have greatly increased in size in 30 years, and with my cabinets already built around the GE Spacemaker, I was not willing to cut into them or not being able to see my back burners (you know what I mean).
My cabinets only came out from the wall 13 inches, and this was the only microwave that would fit perfect. All the others had the microwave sticking out 3-4 inches PAST the cabinets. Height also sent me to Black and Decker, as this was only 1/2 inch of an increase in height.
I paid only $263 after tax. Try to beat that. The vent shoots the air out of the top at an angle upwards. Double surface lights to see what’s cooking on the stove. It does the same things an $800 microwave does. The more gagets you have, the more that can go wrong with it. It’s a basic microwave, with all the necessary buttons. Very satisfied.
