I work 6-8hrs per day at my standing desk and this has completely saved my feet. I’ve combined it with a lacrosse ball for extra massaging. Great variety of angles to stretch and stimulate your feet. The pad is soft enough to remove almost all foot soreness, yet hard enough to still feel very firm even on carpet. Honestly have already sent this to multiple colleagues and family members it’s been such a great purchase. It’s worth the price for me. Comes out to about $8/month for one year of use of this product, especially when many reviews have said it has held up well over 3-5 years. Love it!!

Just got a standing desk for work and realized standing on the hard tile floor is not fun. We have 2 regular flat mats in the kitchen; but I felt like a regular flat mat would not suffice at work. The Topo mat is perfectly sized for my work space; while it has plenty of room for my feet to stand flat comfortably (size 12 shoe),,,the raised edges and ridges are a godsend. Depending on what I am doing I find myself constantly shifting and moving my feet, stretching this way and that. Probably my favorite position is leaning just slightly forward while my feet are on the back edge and stretching my calf muscles. And it slides wonderfully easy when I want to sit at my desk. In one week I am already standing close to 40% of my day. Wonderful product, heartily endorse, I do work in the automotive industry, so my shoes walk through a lot of caustic fluids. Looking forward to see how it holds up! And a side note…everyone who I work with who has tried it loves it!

I use this mat under my standing desk. I have to say, I was a little skeptical about the “terrain” feature but I saw all the good reviews and decided to go for it.

Best decisions ever. The terrain really reduces fatigue, plus lets me stretch my calves easily while standing and working. It also keeps my feet moving so I don’t stand in one position too long, and the pad itself is fantastic. Cushy but sturdy, just the right amount of give.

I love the quality construction, the center massage bump, the calf stretch rear edge, and how I feel encouraged to move around on the mat. It’s comfortable, looks cool, and works great! It’s thicker and more dense than I expected. It’s large and heavy but can be leaned up against the wall when I want to wheel my chair next to my desk. Easy to wipe clean. Not slippery for stocking feet. It has plenty of padding.

I recently got a standing desk at word and after a couple of days of standing in my cube, I realized that I needed to get an anti-fatigue mat. Of course, I turned to Amazon to see what my options were. I read lots of product reviews of a variety of mats. I was very intrigued by this mat. I had heard that you should be constantly shifting your weight while using a standing desk and I thought that my feet would appreciate some variety in inclines, etc. So, even though it was pricey, I purchased it.

I’ve been using it for several days now and I am very happy. The mat is well padded, even on the flat part. I love the raised back of the mat; I do calf-raise type movements on it throughout the day. The ridges and the random bump in the middle of the mat feel good on my feet (I admittedly use the mat without shoes because, well, I can! :)).

The mat is larger than I expected it to be, so you definitely have to have room for it. You also can’t roll your chair over it, so you’ll need somewhere to store it when you want to use your desk at your chair, or at the end of the day if you need to move it for the cleaners who vacuum your cube or office. It will stand up on it’s end, so you can lean it against a filing cabinet easily. It’s got good padding on it. I’m significantly overweight and this has really helped my legs and feet. My back still hurts a bit from standing, but my legs and feet are doing well, even though my body’s not really used to it. I got the grey color and it’s a nice medium-grey color. I do wish it came in brighter colors — I would kill for a robin’s egg blue or pink one. The purple color didn’t look very vibrant online; maybe it’s better in person.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the price. However, it is a small company and a well-made product that I literally use 3-5 days a week, so when you think about it that way, the price isn’t all that bad.

I was excited to try this new standing mat—I am on my feet for the majority of my workday and good ergonomics are important to me. Unfortunately, the mat smelled strongly of mold/mildew upon arrival. I kept the mat outdoors on my covered deck for ten days to air it out, I moved the mat out into the direct sunlight for a day, and I washed the mat alternately with vinegar, soap, and a mild disinfecting spray. The mat still smelled musty when I brought it inside, like the haymow in a barn, and my nose soon felt ticklish and then I got a runny nose, which is unusual for me. While I was still contemplating what to do, the seller proactively contacted me asking if I was enjoying my new mat. When I explained the issues with the smell, the seller sent me a replacement mat directly from their stock and I am happy to report that it is odor-free! I was able to use the replacement mat indoors immediately and there was no smell or allergic reaction. I am very pleased with the mat. I find myself moving my feet more often when I use this mat, instead of standing in a rigid, motionless posture. Sometimes after alternately standing and sitting at a desk all day, my feet feel tired or stiff, but after using my new mat, my feet felt more “alive” and limber when I went for a walk after work. I am impressed with the product and with the exceptional customer service I received from the seller!

I work long hours at home and needed to make some changes to my work routine. Sitting at my desk was not good for my back or long term health. My physician recommended that I stand at my desk to alleviate back pain, and to get better circulation. I have lower back pain, so knew that I had to have something to alleviate any discomfort that might occur from standing long hours. I chose the Topo Comfort Mat by Ergodriven, and was I ever pleasantly surprised! Not only am I able to stand for long hours, but by adjusting my stance I can manage my comfort level, and feel energized. I have more clarity of thought and am more productive. It is also easy to clean and put under my desk when I got back to sitting down. A great design and product. Thank you Topo!

As a standing desk worker, I always experienced the problem of tired feet. That’s not until I heard of the comfort mats. Not sure of what model will work for me, I made up my mind to settle for two mats built with quality and comfort in mind. These are Ergocomfy Not-Flat Anti Fatigue Mat and Topo by Ergodriven Anti-Fatigue Mat. With their new-generation features, these mats have proven to be one of the favorites among standing desk users. Below is a comparison review of the two mats and what they’ve got to offer.

      Ergocomfy Standing Desk Mat

The Ergocomfy mat comes large to provide plenty of room for movement. The mat measures 24 x 36 inches, making it larger than the Topo mat. And considering lack of good blood circulation to be one of the major causes of tired feet, Ergocomfy took this into consideration by sporting two massage sections in this mat. The massage sections help trigger muscle engagement and improve blood circulation. This mat is designed to accommodate at least 10 standing positions, a feature that lets you feel more energized while improving productivity at work.

With this mat, you get a calculated terrain feature that motivates you to move more. And it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to quality. This mat is made of quality 100-percent polyurethane foam that’s covered in a pebbled skin. In short, it’s a mattress that’s built to last. What’s more, you also get the convenience of a hands-free edge positioning that lets you slide the mat more conveniently. This mat comes in black – a color that you may find quite handy in concealing any forms of dirt.

      Topo Standing Desk Anti-Fatigue Mat

Topo Mat is known for its exceptional quality – a quality that has made it one of the top choices for standing desk users. This is a mat that’s equipped with the next generation features to ensure that you get maximum comfort. Measuring 26 x 29 inches, the mat is spacious enough to provide lots of movement. Healthier standing has been factored in by incorporating a calculated terrain feature on the mat. This feature helps engage the muscles for easy exploring, articulation and stretching. Though it lacks the massage function to provide excellent blood circulation, the mat compensates for this with the cushioned terrain that triggers subconscious movement.

The quality of this mat is quite good and compares well to that of Ergocomfy. It’s made of the same foam material – 100% polyurethane. With it, you get the sublime comfort of a durable pebbled skin that covers the mat. The mat slides easily and can even be repositioned with one foot. You get this mat in a range of colors to help match your taste. You can either choose to go for Obsidian black or Altostratus Grey.

      Verdict

After drawing comparisons from the two mats, I decided to settle for Ergocomfy Mat over the Topo Mat. This is because the Ergocomfy Mat provides lots of extras. It’s more spacious and has got the most healthy benefits. This is a mat that’ll surely make me more productive as a standing desk user – a job that I really enjoy. And above all, I’m confident that it will last for longer and provide the most benefit for every penny spend.

I’ve used this mat now daily at my standing desk for many hours straight the past 5 months and I’m very satisified. I’m at my desk a lot and for years I sat at my desk. I’ve had my Herman Miller chair for well over 8 years now and I’m a firm believer investing in quality products. . It’s a $1k chair and the comfort/durability made me a customer for life. I decided because of many back problems from my neck to my lower spine, hips and just overall stiffness all around that I’d move to spending more time with a standing desk than sitting. As I previously said, I stand a lot now. Before this purchase I bought a mat from Walmart for like $40.. also had a anti-fatigue mat I believe was under $40.. neither can compare to this. The $100 is well worth the cost and the design does in fact allow you to change your stance and more or less encourage it than standing in one spot constantly for hours on end. Not standing as much before this, it did take some time for the body to adapt to the prolonged standing unless you’re already on your feet all day. I do need limit the sometimes 5-8hrs straight standing and practice alternating 30 minutes standing to sitting. Overall, worth every penny.

Extremely comfortable, I really like the different shapes and angles on the mat, they allow me to move around and stretch out my legs and back.
