The steel side is definitely great for meats but has no groove or trough around the perimeter of the board for juices or liquid to accumulate.
Having the reverse side to use for vegetables is nice.

If your looking for a easy to clean and nice looking cutting board, this is it!! Much better then wood cutting boards, as they can hold germs, from meat, so this cutting board has one side for meat, one side for veggies, etc.. love the cut out for the garlic, works GREAT!! would make a GREAT gift!!! Or buy one for your own home, and know your putting the best out to cut your veggies/meats…

I can’t be happier with my purchase. I bought this more than 6 months ago and using it on a weekly basis for my meal preps, I cut vegetables and chicken on the Ss side. It is soo durable and I love it. I can easily disinfect and I don’t feel gross after cutting chicken. Some say it dulls your knifes but I can always sharpen them. Better than having wood or plastic particles getting stuck on my food! Never going back to other cutting boards, only stainless steel from now on!

Haven’t had the opportunity to use the stainless steel side but would have liked something to catch any meat juices from running over the sides. The fruit/vegetable side works well and is easy to clean. This product does have some weight to it but is still manageable. Will update once fully used if any problems are noted – for now, recommend!

Love that this board is double sided and it’s very sturdy. It is a little heavy so that might be an issue for someone who is an elder or can’t carry heavy things like my mom. It stands up to being washed in the dishwasher and I haven’t had any issues with it.
