This new version has more power than previous versions and came with everything in attachments. A great addition to work in the kitchen.

All Cut Attachments are very useful. I doubted for a long time whether it was worth buying a puree attachment and finally decided to splurge… And I didn’t regret it! This is a puree, not a cream paste. In stationary blenders it’s easy to overdo the chopping. Here everything is thought out. It works very stably, the adjustment is very soft. I am very pleased and recommend both the product and the seller.

I bought this unit after the previous lower end model died right after the warranty expired. Looking back now, I was an idiot for buying Braun again after such a short life for a product that should have lasted much longer. The new unit however, died well within its warranty period. Braun’s warranty department however TAKES FOREVER. And they lie. They claim “there’s no units in stock in the service dept, so we have to go through the warehouse, and it’ll take 7-10 business days” — which is an unacceptable amount of time for a warranty replacement in this day and age and what I am used to on Amazon. But I waited, and here it is day 9, and I call to follow up and 1) they claim
It’s only day 7, which is incorrect, I called Jan 22nd, it’s now Feb 1st. 2) they now tell me in this call that this delay is standard, so their claim on the first call that this was an unfortunate setback was false.

Let’s be clear: A product is only as good as its warranty and Braun’s warranty is as good as worthless. Moreover, their products are unreliable and will not last.

As of now I am forced to buy a new product since it’s going on three weeks I can not cook as normal thanks to their product failing and their painfully slow warranty replacement “service”.

Avoid Braun and De’Longhi kitchen products. Not worth it.

I was looking for a way to plastic-free my blending, and this + a 1l tall Weck jar was the ticket. The wand fits perfectly inside with room to move, but can still blend the entire contents in a column. This might have a small bushing/seal or something still behind the blade (I can’t see it too well) but that’s the smallest amount of plastic in any blending solution that I have been able to find. As far as I’m aware, the blender is also lead-free per Tamara Rubin’s testing.

I stand the motor and the main blending wand up on a small tray so they take up minimal counter space. It has plenty of power to blend my morning shakes, easily pulverizing the cacao nibs I add. The wand and whisk are super easy to clean as well.

The whisk is nice too. It connects to a plastic-geared housing, so it seems light duty. But for eggs it works.

The only downside is that it comes with all these other accessories that I don’t really need. I have no real interest in using the food processor or potato masher attachments as they’re excessive amounts of plastic. But I suppose it’s handy to have just in case?

I have the same complaints on the lack of adequate instructions in the picture book manual.
However, after the first use (Not the test run) the safety buttons are useable. Initially they did not work as the photos indicate you push the lit panel which is not a button at all.
I cannot wait to find what new textures and flavors I can make wiht this new toy!
The tool is pretty much all it says in the display.
However, the instructions are many random photos that do not make much sense at all. Several more pages into the manual there is written word referencing 1, 1a, b, 2c. Once you find what it is referring to, start again.
Once you figure out which parts to touch to change operation single hand operation is not simple at all. After several tries to get to a low setting, takes 2 hands, then getting set for one hand operation you have to work with the food a little and the thing has reverted to the default settings.
There should be a way to defeat the safety mechanism to allow use of the product. Or they need a better design. I finished my project manually. I will try this way overpriced device again but feel certainly I should have bought something else or waited until something useful became available.
Don’t buy this for your Mom or grandmother unless they played the piano or maybe clarinet. Just to get it to spin is like playing wackamole. Getting it to not be on high or use pulse. Forget it.
When you do give it a try have it positioned where you want it to do the work. If you, surprise! get it running and it is not completely down you get a new design on your backsplash and cabinets.
I’d give fewer stars, but I really want this thing to work. My imagination for soups using this is endless.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this hand blender set. I have not been disappointed. It is very sturdy, easy to use and to clean. It does the job. I have made so many soups since purchasing this blender. I wonder how I ever lived without a hand blender! This is extremely well-made. It is fun to use and I recommend it without reservation.

I love this kit! I use it on our boat and it helps with everything we need. Space saving so I can stash it neatly and it helps not having extra appliances with extra weight and bulk.

I had one of the original Braun immersion blenders and thought the 200 watt unit was plenty strong. I had no idea what doubling the power would do and it just gets it done super fast. A can of chickpeas can be made into hummus in the cup easy and fast and comes out creamy, not at all gritty.

      Love it!

Overall this is product is good and has replaced few of the bulky items in my kitchen like the vitamix. After almost 6 months of using here is what I think:

First and most importantly, I don’t understand why this product is sold at a much higher wattage in Europe than it is in the US. This would’ve been a perfect product if I can get the same 1200 watts available elsewhere,

Blending soup feels clunkier than other hand mixers. I had a kitchenaid before and felt this process was easier and faster,

cutting through ice is very easy and it makes good shaved ice. The fact that it is dishwasher safe is a plus.

I don’t understand the point behind the potato masher, to me this was a waste and I could’ve done without.

Accessories are not sold separately. I am not sure what to do when the blade I am using now goes dull. Additionally, I wanted to buy other accessories like the food processor attachment because I was so impressed with the product, but I was not able to find it, although it seems that it used to be sold independently before, so I wonder if the product is being discontinued.

I definitely recommend the product but I would definitely look into whether or not Braun wants to continue to sell it before making the investment,

We have tried several other brands of immersion blenders over the past few years. This immersion blender makes them all seem like cheap toys in comparison! The Braun hand blender is rugged and powerful! Yes, it does cost more, but the way we were burning through the cheaper ones (even name brands) was not cheap either. My husband prefers homemade mayonnaise, and this blender makes the perfect batch in no time! We have also had perfect results with blended soups and sauces, Mostly we have used the regular blender attachment, but have also been experimenting with the other attachments and are finding new reasons to love this immersion blender every day! I already have a Braun food processor, and am impressed by the power and versatility of their products. They are well-designed and feel like they will last a long time.

    10. Wears very comfortable and looks very beautiful.

Guys, it is a good blender. The only issue is that, it is 110V driven equipment. It is only for US internal use. The Brown seller never indicared or showed in the description that it is low voltage (110 V). So it is not for EU or other countries use. I bought it now and in my country all electric supply sources are 220V. So now I have to buy an additional step down transformer to use this blender. AMAZON is an international sales platform and people from other countries may buy electric appliances from there. PLEASE make the sellers indicate voltage information in the items description!!!!!
