I was hesitant on getting a kettle to add to my counter, but this one makes it worth it! It is steardy, warms up quickly, and has different functions for myself (tea) and my husband who uses the french press. This kettle is definitely worth the splurge. Did I mention how cute it is?😉 Looks GREAT on the counter.

Is it worth the money? Probably not. But it is durable and decent looking. The Push bottom feature is frivolous but convenient. It’s definitely heavier than any other kettle I’ve used; some people might not like that. This many bells and whistles on a kettle is silly, but we use our kettle between 2 and 6 times every day so we need something that will stand up to heavy use. Hoping this one is it.
Beach bound –
The color is more of a dark navy than what was pictured. I had battled back and forth on getting this due to the price. Ultimately you are paying for the name brand. I do love how it’s stainless steal inside the kettle to prevent paint from heating up, just wish the color was more of the picture shown.

We go thru a lot of kettles at my house. Some are cheap, others expensive, and honestly they all pretty much work the same. But this hot little Breville number is different. Not only do some of then tea totalers in the house like to steep at varying temps but I — as a person who loves it hot — get my brew boiling hot, even if I forget to use the water I boiled (as long as I remember to hit “keep warm”). Unlike previous kettles I’ve had, this one even tells me that it finished boiling the water. While I’d love it if I could leave the water on keep warm for longer than 20 min. or pour a cup and replace the kettle without the keep-warm function turning off, it doesn’t — and neither do any competitors I know of. But for now, this blue babe is awfully cute and has a reasonable small footprint but with a big belly for water. And since we use it at least 4x per day, if it lasts as well as my other Breville appliances, I’ll be thrilled.

In my home, I drink tea and my husband drinks coffee. An electric kettle is the way to go for us. We love this one because of the temperature controls… I can heat it for my black tea and he can heat for his coffee. We also use the “keep warm” feature because we tend to make several drinks over the course of the morning and don’t need to wait to reheat the water. I also love how this kettle looks – I have the black version and it looks upscale on my counter.

Product itself was nice and delivered quickly. Unfortunately I had to return due to the weight – while it wasn’t too bad when empty I knew once I added the water it would be too much to lift with one hand without getting burned by the heat of the exterior. I promptly returned it unused to the 3rd party seller who then deducted $10 for a return shipping fee(so they told me, they told Amazon it was a restocking fee) even though the product page specifically stated FREE returns for any reason. 3rd party seller refused to communicate with me after I pointed this information out to them. I have been in contact with Amazon who also tried contacting the seller (Kitchen Kapers) with no response. Very poor way to do business.

Purchase this as a replacement to an old Cuisinart PerfecTemp kettle, and we couldn’t be more delighted with its performance. Great looking piece as well with the trademark Breville soft close feature.

Just like other Breville products, this kettle is so good! Easy to handle when hot, heats up relatively quickly, great ergonomics all over. I’m very happy with it. Some say it’s hard to see the water level. It’s not all that easy, but with the pot halfway full or even a bit less, I can see the level.
