This is an actually fabulous product I use it every day to heat water for my coffee, and then I will fill it to the top and boil water for my veggies so I don’t have to use my stove.

We love the look and style of this kettle. We were initially worried about the plastic construction, but after months of use, we appreciate that this makes it much easier to clean, and you can feel the outside of the kettle when you want to check if the water is hot. With our old all-metal kettle, we would sometimes touch it and get burned. I also really like the sturdy design of the steel particle filter. It is a joy to use.

This water kettle replaced our Braun which we bought 15 years ago when Marshall Fields was Marshall Fields . Braun has discontinued that kettle and it took me days of research to find a replacement of that quality. This kettle is very similar to the Braun we purchased 15 years, and we hope this new one will last as long.

I like how quickly it boils/heats, the color and soft rise lid. Some complain that they can’t control the temperature. Who cares? It boils the water and then auto-shuts off. If you don’t want boiling water, then just standby for the 5 minutes it takes and shut it off before it boils. If you can’t wait around for that, then you have no purpose to buy this. Stick to your microwave and “control” the time you put your water in there for. This serves one purpose, to boil water. It’s super fast and convenient. This is actually my second one. One for work, this one for our trailer. I used to stand over a propane stove waiting for water to boil for coffee or to do dishes. WHY? This will be so much faster.
I did try to warm milk in this once (the one I have now)….. NOT recommended as the milk boiled all over, all over the counter then to the floor. Also, this has rusted on the bottom a little – probably from the milk incident. I contemplated buying a different one, but I really am happy with this and I don’t want to not be happy with a new one and go through the whole process again. I just won’t try to boil milk in this one.
Just buy it. And don’t complain that it’s too hot. That’s its freaking job.

This is the second kettle that I am purchasing, because I love it so much. It is light, boils the water quickly, pours perfectly, the water does not spill out from the top (like in some other ones I have had). I really love this kettle and it looks very nice, planning to buy another one.

I have had a Breville kettle for 10 years. It still works great. I re-did my kitchen & wanted a white kettle. Was grateful Breville made one in white. It works great so far. Very happy with my purchase.

It boils water fast. After the timer goes off, I pour the water into a stainless steel bowl and submerge three eggs into it. Six and a half to seven minutes makes me the perfect Asian soft-boiled eggs (the one where the egg white is runny but solid white. Using time as the variable, you can make hard-boiled eggs as well just by increasing the submerged time. I’ve never been able to cook eggs so perfectly and consistently the way I want it. Glad I found this appliance!

I love this kettle. Very sturdy and nice looking BUT a few minor things I wish there were and to mention: 1. a whistle. It would be nice to know when the water is ready if you are in another room. It does shut off once boiled but it doesn’t make a sound. 2. Temperature control. There is just an on/off button. You can’t set it to a desired temperature and 3. Be careful of the spout. The water is extremely hot and the steam has already burned me 2x. I never had this problem with my previous electric kettle and I’m not sure why. Overall I’m pleased with this. I originally ordered a different electric tea kettle and when it arrived it was very cheap feeling. I would recommend this one
