Love how small this microwave is and how it sits comfortably above my fridge. It functions well, the quality and finish are nice and itβs a good value.

Have you ever dreamed of having a reality TV home remodeling show but have the likely credit score of Channing Tatum? Does tacky retro color schemes make you all tingly and snobby? Do you want a microwave that screams “I’m not stainless but I’m still covered in a pallet of sprinkled tomato sauce you’ll never clean up”? Just stop. Buy it. You’re broke.

It’s cute, and I got it at a discounted price, so no complaints. But if you want to get this, I would recommend the regular style instead of the retro style.
It heats up food evenly. my previous model when I heat food, usually the bowl is hot but the food isn’t. This model actually heats up food really evenly, you won’t have spots that’s super cold and spots that’s super hot. However, I had to read the manual everytime I use it lol
the retro model looks cute but they really made it retro style. It doesn’t just look retro but also comes operates like one. the timer only goes in increments of 5, not a big deal since it heats food pretty evenly. When you need to use it you have to press, dial, press, dial to start it, where as a normal model you just have to press the time and click start. Everything is in Code lol A-1 thru A-9, which I just know i won’t use. Then PL1 through PL 10. each means a different level setting but you have to set it up each time you use it. And then defrost is another rabbit hole. It is as cute as it is hard to operate.
While it is a good looking microwave and works well. Get the regular model, the 5 button and a dial in this case really takes less is more to a literal level. It also has the option to do multi stage heating, you just have to learn it lol
KEEP THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL if you get the retro version. You WILL need it lol

Just wanting to let people know that this little microwave, made by COMFEE, is quite nifty for the price. I started out my microwave buying experience spending $400 for a top of the line (or so I thought) microwave, but the shipping experience from Amazon (thru Joe’s Appliance) was soooo horrible…as in, microwave came with box mangled (and appliance body bent badly so I refused the shipment and got my money back) that I just decided to get a cheapy. My only problem was it had to have a small footprint to fit on a shelf in my kitchen. Well, the COMFEE brand microwave fit what I needed, and I can still put a full sized dinner plate I to it if need be!!
It runs actually pretty quiet, but the door sounds a bit clingy to open and shut (trick is, open while slightly pressing door in and shut door with a light snuggy push instead of slamming it shut). It is small, but looks great and does the trick. I don’t microwave much, but still use it about everyday for heating milk for my coffee or reheating leftovers etc. At around $88.99, I splurged and bought the four year Asurion insurance. BTW, Asurion is pretty doggone good to stand behind their word if a product really goes South.
So if you need a small little microwave for a small space and you don’t try to cook huge meals in it, I have found that so far, it’s a really good deal.
Much better than the fiasco of trying to get a large high priced appliance to my house, sign for the delivery even though trying to get it delivered when I am actually HOME (I work. You know?) Then dealing with the mangled mess.
NOTE: If you see a damaged delivery box you HAVE TO SIGN FOR, do yourself a BIG favor and open the box and check out the product BEFORE you sign for it. Then you can refuse the thing and let the delivery person ship it back. Joes Appliance did get my money back to me a.s.a.p., to be fair.

Even though refurbished, this unit looked brand new even to the little plastic covering over the controls as you would find in a brand new unit. It works perfectly and I love the size since I don’t do a whole lot of cooking but more warming. It didn’t come with the plastic dish cover which I picked up for a $5 at the grocery store. Happy camper here π

This does take up a small footprint but that also restricts what you can use it for. You cannot fit a dinner plate in it. The wattage is only 700 watts and food you want to cook doesn’t give a time for so low a wattage. It’s good for warming coffee but for any real food, No. It struggles with popcorn because the bag hangs up so it cooks unevenly. I choose the ‘modern’ look. All that does is make the writing on the keypad less white. It’s harder to read. The button can be difficult to push at times. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. It’s a budget microwave. It is what it is. With that in mind, don’t expect it to replace a full size microwave. It’s good for warming drinks and small items. If you keep your expectations low, you won’t be disappointed.

When I went shopping in store and online for a new microwave, I looked at many brands and models. I was replacing an old worn Sanyo microwave which was a small microwave that served me well for many years.
The brands and models for new microwaves were similar. Many were larger models. I wanted a smaller microwave to save space. Many smaller microwaves were store brands. I figured I’d give the Comfee microwave (white, non-retro) on Amazon a chance.
Per the positive reviews I ordered the Comfee microwave (white, non-retro). The Comfee brand and model is a generic and no-frills budget microwave. It feels and operates similar to many other smaller brands and models.
It operated well on first use heating up leftovers like any other microwave oven. It does feel cheaply made. The door opens quickly and will open all the way. It opens and closes with a loud “clunk,” sound.
It was shipped in a timely manner and packaged very well for shipping. It comes with a user manual. The (white) non-retro model looks sleek and modern.
