This thing heats up water ridiculously fast, and I’ve never burned my teas once from using it, so the temperature settings are definitely accurate. Because it’s uniquely a gooseneck, it can handle pour overs which most other electric kettles aren’t capable of. The benefit of goosenecks is you can guarantee an even brew that wets all the leaves/grounds and doesn’t leave any dry spots, which just makes for better brews no matter if it’s tea or coffee you’re brewing. I’m in love with this thing!

Three years later and she’s still going strong. I can confidently say I love this kettle. I keep seeing other more expensive and “high end” kettles and think about replacing it but I just can’t. She’s been so good to me. Even after someone accidentally spilled some water on the buttons, she still works great. Here are a few tips that I recommend to take care of your kettle:
1) descale your product every 6 months or so. Especially if you live somewhere with hard water. I am lucky to have access to drinkable water but I still run it through a filter before putting it in my kettle. I have noticed when I use water that has sat out in a pitcher overnight I have to descale my product less. You don’t need a fancy solution, just Google a vinegar solution. Tbh, I would recommend this will all products that you run or heat water through to prevent the lime scale/ water mark build up. I think doing this has kept the temperature accurate. I have read that having lime scale and affect the accuracy of the temp read on gadgets.
2) don’t let water sit in it. I know it’s easy to forget or not want to refill the kettle all the time but I use it so much that I have trained myself to empty it like clock work.
3) this goes along with 2 but don’t keep the lid on. I usually empty my kettle and then put the lid next to it to let it air out. I started doing this about 6 months ago and I haven’t had to descale my kettle yet. It’s kept clean and it gives my kettle an opportunity to air out.
4) make sure you don’t spill water on the outside of the kettle when filling it. This one is kind of a no brainer but if you get water on the hot rings, it might stop it from working. Only takes 5 seconds to grab a dish towel and dry the exterior before putting it on the burner.
5) DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN HERE BUT WATER. I don’t think I need to elaborate on this one.
That’s about all I have for now. You take care of her and she will take care of you! I always get compliments on this kettle. She’s sleek, reliable, and fairly priced compared to other “fancier” kettles.
Video is me boiling water to 180 and taking a temp read right after. Still works!

I’ve used this every day to brew pour over coffee since I bought it sept ’23 and had no issues. It’s so convenient and easy to use, and I have used it so often, I don’t know why I waited so long to buy it.
It is easy to fill and start, and I love the “hold temperature” button for mornings where I have a lot to do.
Pouring is a breeze. The handle is sturdy, easy to hold, and stays cool. The steam vents on the lid are clearly marked and have not scalded my thumb.
Once, I accidentally put the empty kettle back on the base while the hold-temp button was active (I was real tired). After just a moment, the base began to beep and turned off to prevent burning the kettle. There was no damage, and I am glad it let me know what happened. What a thoughtful feature!

This tea kettle works just perfectly for my teas. It’s simple to use, heats up quickly and has a hold setting to keep the temp for one hour. No wifi/app required to use it…just simple and neat. It also included recommendations for different altitudes in the instruction manual, which was good since I live at 9000’ feet and water boils at a lower temp here.

Affordable and popular. I was reluctant as you rarely see a product meet both categories without some defect. This heats water rapidly to the correct temp. 4 Minutes to boil. Slightly smaller at 800 ml than previous kettles I have owned but the construction appears solid and the handle and spit are configured so pouring is easy. Great for making one or two pour overs. Controls are intuitive and the buttons are soft touch no need for a hard press just touch. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. One noticeable missing feature is most kettles I have owned have a digital reading showing progress of temp as it heats up. However this kettle heats so quickly that it is of little importance.

After several weeks of use, I am updating my review. The Cosori kettle is elegant and makes excellent coffee. It doesn’t seem to beep- although I am hard of hearing, maybe it’s just too soft! I wish there were a way to personally set temperature, but the built-in temperature controls seem to work well. After reading the reviews, I am very careful to never get water on the bottom, but fill the pot holding the opening directly under the fountain- and voila!- It’s done, it’s good, and guests ask me about the beautiful kettle.

This kettle is beautiful in it’s simplicity. It’s easy to use as it’s buttons are very intuitive. Heats water just as I like it for my green tea! I returned two other brands I tested before I received this one for one reason or another. I’m so pleased I persevered and found this one!

For me, this is the perfect little kettle. I love having the temperature control for my tea. It is convenient that it will hold the temperature. I was also surprised at how well this kettle pours. It looks cute and stylish as well. The plastic handle feels a little cheap but that doesn’t bother me. I bought this for $50 used like new and I think it is a steal for that price.
This is much better than the Ulalov kettle I had. The quality of that one wasn’t as good and it didn’t have temperature controls. I am very happy I upgraded to this Cosori kettle.

Pours excellent pouring for pour over coffee and tea. The max line level for water heating is perfect for two people. I wish the Max Line indicator was a little bit easier to see. It’s there, just could stand out a bit easier visually. Should also be an energy saver too because it heats quicker than our electric stove top kettle. It also travels well too! The lid is just the right tightness. Didn’t need to make any initial adjustments.

Review after at least a month of use: Looks kinda classy. Ability to keep water warm is actually useful. Pours nicely. Decent brewing speed. Smaller than I expected but too good to return/exchange.
