    1. Gotcha4More

Purchased this unit to replace a regular toaster oven and separate, basket style air fryer damaged after a lightning strike to the house. Overall, I give this unit a 5 star rating. For an all in one unit, it does all the functions extremely well with relatively quick pre-heat times. The unit is larger than photos make it out to be and does get quite warm so be sure you check your counter space and leave room for the unit to “breathe”.

The air fry function is perfect with the right amount and placement of heating elements combined with a powerful fan. I look forward to using the dehydrate feature but wish I could find 2 additional wire racks and basket trays for this purpose but the included rack, pan and tray are perfect for most all uses.

As another review stated, the door is spring loaded. It will stay open at a 90 degree angle to the counter, using the handle as a leg to rest on and makes the door a great landing tray. But be sure to have ahold of the handle when closing as it will powerfully slap closed otherwise but seems to take the negligent abuse very well without damage (so far). The quirky thing is the power button. It’s not labeled and had to dig through the manual to figure out how to turn the unit off. By pressing and holding the “Time/Shade” button for 3 seconds, the unit will power off manually. I maked mine with a sharpee until I’m used to it and it removes easily with rubbing alcohol.

One thing I didn’t consider is for the air fry function specifically. While this unit air fries beautifully, I do miss my pull out basket air fryer for the more messy items. I used to just pull the basket out, give the items a shake, and put it back in, keeping all the debris that falls off in the bottom of the basket. While there is no need to “shake” the items in this all in one unit, crumbs and bits will make a little bit bigger clean up job overall. That’s my only real gripe about it.

I do like that the light turns on automatically when you reach the 1 minute mark, being both functionally handy and a visual reminder your item is about done cooking. For my family of two, this will all but replace my regular oven as it’s size is perfect for 95% of our cooking/baking needs, it even handles a store bought pizza just fine. The only feature it’s missing really is a rotisserie but I likely wouldn’t have used that much (if at all) anyways. Solid purchase for the money and very happy to have it as another tool in the kitchen. Even bought one for my mom.

UPDATE 2 weeks: I was able to bend the legs of the basket so it fits better on the shelf. I still like the way the oven cooks. I’m still learning to navigate the menu. It’s a bit cumbersome. My only complaint so far, and it’s minor, is that whenever you open the door, even if it’s off and you’re just replacing a shelf after washing it, the menu lights up. And it doesn’t go dark again for a while. The only way to turn it off is to press the time button for three seconds. Not a big deal, but a design issue. I would give this a 4.5 based on those minor issues. Still a good oven.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really like this air fryer. I had a basket type, which I always burnt my hand, reaching in to try to get food out. This is easier. I finally figured out how to turn the thing off though. Press and hold the time button for three seconds. Yes, it’s in the user manual, but I had to go digging for it…not obvious. My only complaint so far is the basket shelf is a teeny bit too narrow and can slip off the shelves if you’re not careful. I think it’s because the legs are bent a little bit. I will see if I can adjust it. Other than that. This fits the bill.

For context, I am a former professional line cook and currently provide dining services 🙂 to my family on a daily basis.

I was looking to replace a dead 4 qt. air fryer but wanted a multi-function unit for the following reasons: 1) my home oven takes ~17 minutes to preheat to 350F, 2) currently lack convenience of a toaster oven 3) I have limited counter space.

I have had this Cosari 12 in 1 for less than a week but have used it every day. Here is what I’ve done and the associated experience/results:

      1) Air fryer function: frozen chicken nuggets + frozen crinkle cut fries – the unit was to temp (360F) within 2 minutes. Loaded the fryer tray with both nuggets and fries. 9 min cook time. Everything came out evenly browned and crisp. The unit was also surprisingly quiet. Much quieter than my last unit. Score- Air Fry – 10.

      2) Convection Bake function: Re-heated pre-cooked thick cut bacon. I pre-cook and keep thick cut bacon in the fridge at all times. Normally, I would re-heat via microwave (soggy) or on a cast iron skillet. I slid 4 slices into the Cosari, set to bake 400F with fan (convection). WIthin 2 minutes, the bacon was sizzling and crisped up in more than half the time vs the cast iron. Score – convection – 10.

      3) Bake function: Re-heated slices of both thin crust and thick crust pizza. I make tradional NY style thin crust as well as a thicker sheet pan style pie. Left overs are frozen and pulled for a quick after school (or late night!) snack. Previously, I would preheat the oven to 375F and the slices would take 8-10 minutes to be hot and ready. In the Cosari, I set it to Bake at 400F. Preheated for the amount of time it took to pull the slices and arrange on a parchment lined pan. Maybe 2 minutes. Bake time was 8 minutes to perfection. I really think the limited interior space vs a conventional oven allows a higher concentration of heat enabling a faster cook from frozen. Maybe not, don’t really know. What I do know, I give the Cosari another score of 10 for this baking application.

      4) Warming function: I have previously used my standard oven for holding foods hot when hosting and serving larger groups. I was preparing a breakfast taco bar for 10ppl and decided to try the Cosari to hold hot foods hot. I set the warming function at 220F and loaded in cold cooked bacon, pan fried breakfast potatoes and a pan of scrambled eggs. This gave me the time to warm tortillas on the cast iron skillet, lay out the spread of cold toppings and call everyone to the kitchen. I pulled everything out of the Cosari after about 10 mins and everything was perfect. Super convenient and effective. Warming function score: 10.

      5) Broil function: On occasion we treat ourselves with buttered texas toast with cinnamon and sugar bruleed under the broiler. Popped a couple of slices into the Cosari, broil setting on 400F for 2 minutes. Being able to turn the light on without opening the door is a great feature to guard against burning the sugary sweet treat. Perfection. Broil function: 10.

I have yet to use the dehydration function but plan to with some near end of life bananas. I also have yet to use it to bake (or convection bake) or roast a substantial amount of meat.

Overall Pros: My expectations were met and exceeded in some areas with this unit. It looks good and comes with the necessary rack, broiler pan and air fryer tray. Note: 2, standard 1/8 aluminum sheet pans fit perfectly on the included broiler pan which is very handy. A 12″ pizza round also fits inside perfectly. Super versatile unit & highly efficient. The control panel is easy to use. Also, the chime is not overbearingly loud or annoying.

Overall Cons: The control knob on my unit feels loose. It turn with incremental notches that can be felt though the function and temp displays aren’t sync’d with the notches. In other words, the going from 350F to 355F is halfway between two notches. Weird. It may have been put on incorrectly. I hope it lasts. Also, the door which drops down is spring loaded assisted to close. It is quite tight and has slipped out of my hand a couple of times slamming shut. I don’t think that will help the longevity so something to take notice of and avoid letting the door slam shut. I will say, the handle is perfectly positioned whereas then the door is open, the handle serves to keep the open lid at a 90 degree angle allowing for the opened door to serve as a temporary landing shelf.

If the rating system allowed, I would rate this a 4.5. I can’t give it a five because of the knob issue though so far, I love this unit. My wife refers to it as my new little friend.

I hope this review is helpful.

Update: 5 more stars for Cosori. The upper elements stopped heating up. I submitted a support request, after being amazed that there is a 2 year warranty. After I submitted the support request, I wound up unplugging then plugging the oven back in, and the elements started working again. I notified support, and they said that because it was still under warranty, they would replace it. I had to cut the power cord and send in a picture for them to start the replacement, so although it broke my heart, I did it, and my new unit is on the way. I usually use the air fryer toaster oven multiple times a day, so I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for it to arrive. I think it is a great product, backed up by great customer service.

      Original review:
I love how many functions this oven has. The toasting works great, just test the different settings to find the toasting degree that is just what you want. For us, setting 4-5 toasts just right. Air frying has worked great. I use a small piece of foil to make a “pan” for a burger or other item that will be messy, drippy or hard to flip on the air frying basket. French fries come out great and I can put them in next to the burgers so they both finish at the same time. The size of the cooking area inside is great for us (two of us), and overall dimensions fit our counter top fine. Just be mindful that you may need to be open to checking that your assumed cooking times are actually matching what is happening in the oven. I haven’t had any cooking mishaps, but I’m also mindful to keep an eye on what I’m making. Oh, and the wireless notifications to my phone when something is preheated or done is fine, I find it kind of funny. The beep could be louder though, as I’m not so accustomed to be “partnered” with my phone when cooking, and I usually just monitor what I’m cooking anyway. Nice documentation is provided with the oven also. Very happy with this purchase, and I hope it lasts a long time.

Bought this oven about a month ago to replace our old, “regular” sized air frier. Was looking for something bigger and better, something which could handle different types of cooking without having to use a conventional oven/stove top.

This gave me the opportunity to try it under different circumstances. Here is my impression so far.

      PROS:
First things first, this oven definitely works as advertised, meaning it functions as an air frier, broiler, toaster, baker, etc.
It looks real nice with its sleek metal finish looks, it also feels durable and well built. The digital display has nice, clear colors and the buttons large enough to press even while wearing mitts. It is also relatively quiet and it doesn’t emit any foul smell or smoke.
Its companion app, once set up and connected, also works OK, and it shows further settings useful for more detailed cooking.

      CONS:
Well…as I previously mentioned I was looking for an all in one solution, which this thing sort of is, meaning that yes, you can definitely cook and bake, etc. but not if you plan using the entire oven space for one particular type of cooking. For example, I usually air fry many of my meals, and I thought that by placing large quantities of food spread across different trays (it comes with three) I was going to be able to cook more. Wrong.

As the door labels indicate, you can only use a certain type of cooking only using a specific tray level (top, middle or bottom). In other words, I can’t use the whole oven to air fry, otherwise it won’t cook evenly all across.
Furthermore, the buttons on the machine itself are clear and large enough, BUT for whatever reason some basic and important buttons are missing, such as the OFF button and PREHEAT. By default, if you initiate any cooking from the oven itself, it will preheat and there is no obvious way to disable that unless you use the companion app.

Speaking of it, the app itself works well, however I don’t understand its true purpose. It will let you set up the type of cooking, temperature and time (and whether you want to preheat or not), but it won’t start cooking unless you push the physical start dial on the oven. Have no idea why unless the purpose for this is to ensure you don’t start the oven remotely while someone is using it or for other safety reasons.

In other words, both the oven and the app don’t function fully independently from one another, therefore defeating the purpose of either one.

Despite all of that, it is still a really good product for its price and don’t regret buying it, I only wish I had the right expectations beforehand.

I replaced my basket style air fryer with this toaster oven/air fryer combo. So far I’m very happy.

      Pros:
-Versatile for the counter space. It has 3 grooves, and comes with an air fry basket, baking rack, and baking sheet. You can slide the baking sheet right under the basket or rack to use as a crumb tray if you want. I’ve used it both as an air fryer and as a spare oven, and each time it’s done the job quite well.
-There is an invisible crumb tray to slide out from the very bottom (under the door). However, I keep the baking sheet on the lowest groove so I’ve never needed it.
-Fits under my upper cabinet with several inches to spare. It says you need to pull it out from the cabinet to operate, but for me personally it’s not been a problem. It does emit some heat, and my cabinet above gets warm but not hot to the touch.
      – Doesn’t take a lot of extra space around it. You wouldn’t want to butt in right up to a wall, but I have about 2″ around the sides and back, and again, there’s some heat but not concerning for me. It doesn’t require any special heat pad to protect the counter either.
-Door lays flat when you open it. This should be a no-brainer, but surprisingly some toaster oven/air fry combos don’t do this.
-Much quieter than my basket style air-fryer. It’s not silent, but neither the fan nor the beeps are obnoxious.
-You can turn the fan on or off.
-Many standard baking size pans fit. The inside is about 12×12. A lot of disposable foil pans fit, even the Costco 1/4 steamer pan.
-I’ve been able to double stack air frying by laying a metal cooling rack on top of the rack or baking sheet in the middle groove. It worked pretty well, but I do need to turn and move food around half way through.

      Cons:
-It takes a while to figure out the controls. It’s really not very intuitive, and even after you think you’re done, there’s an extra button to push.
-It won’t hold a standard 13″ cake pan. (12″ really is the max). I’d like to buy an extra fry basket and baking sheet, but I’ve not yet found one.
-If the oven is full, it doesn’t cook as evenly as a standard oven.
-I’ve read about people having problems with it running too hot and things burning, but my experience is that it runs a little lower than my standard oven. YMMV.
      -No rotisserie.
-There is about a 5 minute preheat period (as opposed to a basket style air fryer that’s instant).
-It does emit some heat, especially the front glass, so it’s not necessarily effective as a way to avoid warming up the house from the oven. The front glass gets *very* hot, enough to burn anyone who touched it.

I’ve not yet tried the app, broiler, or making toast. I usually line the tray or basket with foil or parchment, so clean up hasn’t been an issue. Overall, it fits my needs and I’d recommend it!

First, I wish I could have given it 4 & 1/2 stars, but they don’t give you that option.
I bought this to replace a 20-year-old regular toaster oven. Before buying, I googled ‘Best toaster ovens’ and went to some of the reviewing sites. When I saw that it had gotten good reviews, I decided to try it out. Glad I did. It definitely takes up more space than my old little one, but it’s not overwhelming.
Controls are simple and intuitive. I’ve used it to bake, broil, toast, air-fry and dehydrate. It does all of them well, though the toast not as well as I would like but not a deal-breaker.
I mostly use it to bake and toast, just like the old one, but the air-fry and dehydrate are fun. I’ve never used an air-fryer, so I didn’t know what to expect. My favorite thing to air-fry is the Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Fast Food Fries. They are amazing and come out perfectly. I’ve never tasted a frozen fry like them (so there’s a plug)! I also like the dehydrate function. I’ve used it with sliced apples (with a little cinnamon sugar), oranges and pineapple. They come out great. Only problem is that they come out too good. They’re gone within a day they are so good, so I’ve had to cut back.
One thing I didn’t expect to like so much is the app. I’m not a fan of apps in general for things like this, but here it works perfectly and makes life easier. Downloading the app is simple and setting up with my wi-fi was a breeze. It means you don’t have to wait around the oven or set a separate timer. It sends a notification to your watch when pre-heating is done as well as when it is done cooking. That’s all I use the app for, but it just makes things so much easier and it’s just kinda cool. A nice feature is that it remembers the last settings you used for time and temperature for each function. It has pre-sets but I normally choose my own. I took a half star off because of the toast. I usually only toast 2 slices of bread and I just can’t get them perfectly even. It has settings for number of slices and doneness. Maybe I just haven’t found the right combination yet.
Overall, though, I’m very happy I bought this, and I do recommend.

    8. Andrea

Overall I appreciate the ease of use for the 12 functions as well as the ability to create custom temperatures and modify them.

But – keep the manual because it takes some time to feel comfortable with it.

One of the best functions is the preset for cooking pizza. A 12 in cooks evenly in 14 minutes with a crispy crust.

Second and third best is the baking and air fry functions. I prefer using this over my kitchen oven for baking lasagna, meatballs and casseroles . The air fryer and broiler is perfect for vegetables such as eggplant, zucchini and carrots.

It cooks for 2 to 4 people with no problem. However, it’s too difficult to use both trays – cooking is uneven in addition to maintaining temperature. The product is so efficient, I am able to cook an entire dinner with one tray.

I don’t agree with other reviews about cleaning – I don’t believe the non stick coating is effective at all. The design makes it hard to clean the inside. Even with heat resistant mats in the crumb tray and a disposable drip pan, I schedule a weekly deep clean, particularly for the racks, sides and bottom.

If used CORRECTLY rrectly parchment paper works nicely. THE PAPER MUST NEVER TOUCH THE HEATING ELEMENTS OR ELSE IT WILL CATCH ON FIRETV.

Also quarter size (8 x 10) baking sheets and casseroles are the best size. Half sheets are two large.

We use the product at least 5 times a week and daily during hotter weather. Definitely beats turning the large oven on.

It takes up a lot of counter space. I didn’t take this into account during my purchase.

We did try a combination microwave and convection oven to get more counter space and ended up returning it. Neither the oven or microwave functions cooked as well as the separate appliances. The food was too dry and cooked unevenly.

We decided to sacrifice space for delicious food.

Overall I would recommend the 12 function model for the price and simplicity. A friend tried the newer 13 function (includes sou
      vide SP?),

    9. Michelle

We’ve been using this air fryer/toaster oven for about three weeks now. It is easy to clean. It looks very nice. Sturdy and no operational issues. One thing to note – if you want to turn off the display lights, you hold down the time/shade button for three seconds. There is an error in the instruction booklet about this and I had to call customer service (who called me back the next day with a correct answer) and do some research on amazon through the customer questions to figure out. Also – when you are heating the oven for air frying or baking, there is a three-beep chime that lets you know the oven reached its temperature. The chime is very quiet – if you’re more than 15 feet away from the oven or there is other noise going on, you’re not going to hear it.

We’ve used this oven every day since we bought it. So far we have used it for toasting, baking, reheating, and airfrying. I didn’t want an oven with a rotisserie and room enough for an entire pizza – that was just over the top. This one works really well for our purposes.

The oven is rather tall – of course even though you read the dimensions, it sometimes just is bigger than you pictured. There is only about 3 inches clearance between the top of the oven and bottom of the upper cabinets. A little more snug than I would have liked but it’s okay.

It cleans up very easily. Comes with a baking tray, toasting rack, and airfryer basket. Everything still looks brand new and has all been used multiple times a day every day for the past 3-4 weeks.

I did a lot of research online and surveyed about 5 close friends that owned air fryers. Very pleased with the quality and the price of this oven. Worth the effort to do the research so you get what you expect!
