Product Description No other piece of cookware performs with the versatility of the Cuisinart® Chef’s Classic™ Nonstick Hard Anodized 3 Quart Saucepan. Whether you’re preparing a delicate hollandaise sauce, steaming savory wild rice or simmering a hearty soup, no other pan offers more reliable results. With interior measurement markings and durable hard anodized construction, cooking has never been easier.. Amazon.com A sturdy medium-sized saucepan is one of the most frequently used pieces of cookware, and this 3-quart pan from Cuisinart will give years of faithful service. Perfect for quickly blanching vegetables or slowly simmering pasta sauces, this saucepan lends itself to a multitude of kitchen tasks. The thick, hard-anodized aluminum construction conducts heat evenly and efficiently through the sides as well as the base, and the wide shape speeds up the reduction of sauces. A tempered glass lid seals in flavor while keeping the contents visible, and a specially designed rim allows for easy drip-free pouring. Cuisinart Chef’s Classic hard-anodized cookware features an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating, designed for healthy low-fat cooking. The coating is tough enough for use with metal utensils. Even delicate foods like fish can be cooked without sticking, and cleanup is quick and easy. Every pan is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. This pan should be hand-washed with a mild detergent, and it carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects. –Simon Leake

Really can’t be beat for the price. I have one as my camping pot. These are not the greatest things in the world by any means but for the price they’re fantastic.

I don’t like the all-clad like scooped handle because I find it digs into my hand but compared to the all-clad it’s actually much better.

The lid is not the tightest fitting thing in the world but that’s okay because it doesn’t have a vent hole so it’s probably good that it doesn’t fit too tight.

The pot heats up reasonably evenly and the non-stick coating seems to last for a long time.

Really good for a knock around pot or one that you go car camping with.

Been using this regularly for months. It has been working out really well. Easy to clean. Cooks well.

Well-constructed saucepan with black non-stick surface, has served me well after months of daily cooking over range of different temperatures and contents. The non-stick surface allows for cooking notoriously sticky foods like eggs, oatmeal and rice without oils or excess liquids, that can be transferred cleanly to dishes (I suggest wiping the surface with oil to seal the pores before the new pan is first used, wash off with soapy water). Crusting or browning at the bottom during high heat cooking can be easily nudged off with silicone spatula/spoonula. Extensive cleaning not necessary, thus saves water. Uninsulated handle remains cool during cooking but the handle on the glass cover gets hot, so use a cloth or paper towel to grab it.

One minor drawback is the transfer of smell after cooking salmon, presumably because the fish oil is adsorbed to the pores. Got another pan for cooking the innocuous foods, not unlike the need to segregate meat and dairy dishes. This is not a problem for me, but might be important if dietary restrictions apply.

I love the easy cleanup , it”s perfect for cooking elbows , penne , ziti, or rigatoni for 2 people . BUT I stirred the pasta with metal tongs and ended up with the bottom full of scratches , so I ordered another one and only use a silicone spatchula instead, NO more scratches ! All my saucepans are CUISINART because they”re VERY high quality, yes they are made in CHINA but what isn”t ? I proudly hang my “PROFESSIONAL SERIES” stainless steel saucepans on my pot rack and they look GORGEOUS !

Just look at it and feel it, you’ll know. Heats evenly and cleans up easily. I know it costs twice as much as some others but I’m glad I purchased it. The 3 quart capacity is great and I like the profile, it’s wider than it is tall.

Great pan for preparing corn, peas, etc. for 1 or 2 people. Easy clean up with no residue sticking to the sides from what we cook in the pan.
