This would be the third toaster of this type we have used over ten years. They do not last forever! This is the same design which we have had using three different brandings. Same toaster, different name. Very easy to set, predictable, easy to remove feature and so on.

This white, 4-slice Cuisinart toaster arrived in a timely manner and was packed very well. I put four slices of bread in the toaster, set the toasting level to about 3 1/2 and pressed the levers down.. When they popped up, one side of each slice was fairly evenly toasted but the other side of all 4 slices were not browned at all. I thought I received a bad toaster and was going to return it. I then remembered reading about breaking in the heating elements of a new toaster and so I ran the toaster 4-5 more times (without any bread), waiting several minutes between each cycle.. I then put 4 slices of bread in the toaster and to my surprise all 4 slices came out evenly toasted on both sides. Problem solved and very happy. I cancelled my return.

Came quickly through the mail and was packaged very well. Very easy to use and can be adjusted depending on your needs. Has great performance, easy to move around and doesn’t weigh too much. Unfortunately doesn’t have a crumb tray but you can very easily shake it out. Doesn’t make too much noise and doesn’t take up much space. Overall, a great toaster.

Let’s face it—toasters have become throwaway items. My expierence is they all quit working fairly soon usually because the little wires quit toasting. Solution? Buy a cheaper one and hope for the best.
So far we’re happy with this one. Toasts very well. Looks good. Good deal.

To me the prime directive for a toaster is that it toasts bread fast. This is a simple, no frills, lightweight toaster that does its one job well, for a good price.

It takes up more counter space.

I saw this model on a list of best toasters so my expectations were high. And also, our previous (two-slice) Cuisinart toaster had lasted nearly 8 years. And we toast A LOT. I am definitely happy with this toaster. It fits bagels nicely and I love having the option to toast four slices at a time. It also toasts fairly evenly. I have a few minor issues with it — one of the temperature dials is a little looser than the other, though it does still seem to work. I’ve also noticed that when you have four slices in, only two seem to actually “pop.” But the lever makes it easy to remove even if it does not pop up, so it isn’t a big problem. All in all, I would say this is a good buy.

This is a big disappointment but I didn’t even notice this before I had it too long to return it. The openings on top are exactly, if not a hair under, 1.5” wide by 5.25” long. That’s 1 and 1/2” wide by 5 and 1/4” long, for those that don’t do decimal.
But you CANNOT get anything thicker than 1” between the wire brackets inside. They do not spread wider. I tried it. Several times. This is very disappointing because it was advertised as 1.5” wide. Thick Texas toast was one of the big reasons I bought it. I would not have bought it if I knew you can’t put anything over an inch thick in it. Even bagel halves are hard to cram into it and they are much firmer than Texas toast so there’s no need to try that. I’ve had a couple bagel halves that weren’t cut exactly in the middle and the thicker side wouldn’t fit into the toaster at all.
Start off toasting sandwich bread on a low setting. The two on this one does what the three did on my old toaster. 3 and a half on this toaster burns sandwich bread black so I don’t know why the settings go to 7.
Also, be sure to use the cancel button if you need to raise the toast before the timer is done. You might damage it if you try to raise it by the handle like all the toasters I’ve had before. This one takes more force to lock down than others I’ve had and I thought something was wrong with it when it wouldn’t stay down. I pushed down harder out of frustration and it locked. The cancel button pops it right up. I’m used to using it now and I don’t think a thing about it.
Read all the instructions before using it because some settings don’t work the way you’d assume it would, like the bagel setting.
There was a less expensive toaster that was advertised as 1.5” wide but I went with the Cuisinart brand because I thought it would be exactly as advertised. I was wrong.
June 7th 2022. This piece of junk will be replaced in the near future. I only toast on the number one setting now because it takes so long to get that done. The bread comes out almost hot but no browning. False advertising and absolutely the worst toaster I’ve ever seen. We have toast at least once a day, almost every day. We’ve been married 51 years now and this is our third toaster, so that shows you what a piece of junk this is, and it’s not just a lemon, it was advertised as having 1 1/2” wide openings and toasting very quick. Absolutely false.

We love the toaster. It works great and has a reheat button in case you need to warm your toast up. It also looks great on our coffee station area in the kitchen. It blends in and doesn’t look like a big blob on the countertop.
