I bought this to my previous Saeco machine that cost way more, and which I had to repair many times until the parts were no longer available. I was specifically looking for the ability to do both ground coffee and beans, and that feature works as I had hoped. The machine is affordable, well designed, easy to use, easy to clean, and makes great tasting coffee. When I read some of the one-star reviews I had a few doubts, but all I can say now is that there’s one in every crowd. I also like that the machine is compact and attractive on the kitchen counter. There’s nothing not to like about this product.

I just upgraded from the older model which I owned for 5 years, and that machine never failed, not even once. I just got this new model, and I froth my milk so I don’t need the other models. This model allows the espresso nozzle to move to accommodate larger containers-this is a must! The brewing chamber is more easily removed and cleaned in this upgraded model, and the water can be filtered.

I had a Breville before this and many machines before that and I thought this was cool at first sounds great on paper you know grind your beans makes a puck Brew Your expresso remove the puck repeat maybe I’m just unlike others here they gave it four and a half plus Stars I like a really good tasting espresso and this did not deliver I tried different grind settings I tried different beans I tried different strengths they warn you they say if you grind it too fine and you brought too strong it comes out like I don’t know one drop out of time and that is true I could not find any kind of happy medium with this place the only thing I didn’t do which I don’t think hardly anybody here is actually going to do is maybe get some fresh espresso beans that’s my only hope for this machine that’s why I’m giving it two Stars versus one maybe that’s the magic formula that I’m missing but overall I also don’t like the fact that I just can’t clean it if I want to because I don’t know how they’re keeping that stuff sanitary in there it makes me a little bit nervous and as far as I can tell there’s no setting on there where I can just start running through some vinegar or something not that I ran that much through there but I don’t know there’s just something that freaks me out about the whole situation I like to wash out my espresso baskets and stuff with you know soap and water and all that fun stuff and you know this you can’t even open it up you can’t do nothing I mean I think that would be a feature that should at least add you just want to get in there and you know make sure that s***’s clean I mean who knows if there’s Grime on there or Gunk or what’s going on but as far as expressive quality goes if you’ve ever tasted espresso at Starbucks you’re not even on the same playing field as what this will produce now if you’re Mr Milk first coffee later probably perfect for you if you don’t care about the taste of expresso or the quality or the crema or you know all that fun stuff if you want to clean counter and don’t care this is perfect I don’t know I just don’t understand how it’s got such good reviews it’s not that great of expresso and there’s a lot on here that I 4.3 Stars way less reviews and I don’t know what the hell they’re doing but makes me never want to get a automatic one unless I go all the ways to Starbucks level so at least I know what I’m buying which I don’t got 60 Grand at least not right now!

My mother-in-law had this coffee maker for the past 15 years and it worked flawlessly for her, so we decided to get one (replacing our beloved Saeco Royal Coffee Bar which stopped working after 20 years and 30,000 cup of Joes). We love this machine. It’s small, the espresso tastes great. It has a pre-ground feature. It’s frothing system isn’t great, but we got a separate milk frother for $30, the 2 appliances combined take up less space than our prior espresso maker. I’m very happy with it. I wish the water tank and the dredge drawer would be larger, but I guess you can’t have everything with the small footprint.

I bought one of these while living in Belgium and loved it. As it was 220 volts I gave it to my daughter and bought the same model here. Makes a great cup of coffee and can be easily adjusted for individual taste.

We shopped long and hard before making the big decision. We love coffee multiple times a day and this machine works fantastic for us. I got a cleaning technique down to a t and we love it. Lots of adjustmentabke options to make your coffee just right. Great value

So my prior super-auto espresso maker was a Jura, but it had started to wear out. Service requires an act of God practically. Thus, the DeLonghi, which is half the price and so far working just fine. Initial set up was a little more work than a Jura (read directions!!), but once up and running am getting perfectly fine espresso and cappuccino. Awesome? No. But for blended drinks like a latte, perfectly adequate. Purists will go for the manual machines, but making a great shot is as much art as science with those things (and my art skills suck). Super auto machines are mostly idiot proof and provide decent consistency.

Only had this a week, will update if issues or problems. So far, easier to clean than my Jura was. For now, good value, recommend.

Product title says “Magnifica S” but the product that arrived was “Magnifica XS”. Upon research, it seems that the models are comparable so I will keep it. Also, this product is non-returnable which can be a headache. The first 2 cups of coffee were good, but I haven’t tried the other features.

Have owned this machine for 8 months and use it daily. It is the best espresso/coffee machine I have ever owned. The ease of use makes it a must for those early morning wake-ups. Adding water, changing the filter and disposing of the used grounds are all simple and straightforward.

And, while some might find this an issue, I like that this machine does not make my espresso so hot that I have to wait 5 minutes to enjoy my first sip. It is the perfect temperature to enjoy my espresso right away.

This is a great machine at a great price. I have yet to encounter any issues and it makes consistently good espresso/coffee.
