This thermometer is waaaay higher quality than my last one. I used to have the red thermopro one and it was okay but this one 10X better! You can feel the quality when you hold it and its way easier to turn on and off. Also it came with an extra battery which is a nice bonus! 10/10, just buy it, you will use it and it will serve you well!

This thermometer arrived a couple days before Thanksgiving – perfect timing, which pleases me because I bought it especially to manage the cooking of a turkey breast. Instructions are not too detailed but useful enough. And it is simple to use. I’m pleased with how very quickly the temperature appears and that the temperature screen is clear. However, one thing I do not like is that it is easier to be read by a righthander than a lefthander; as a “leftie” I find that awkward – the hand in which the thermometer is held. In a perfect world there would be left- and right-hand purchase options.

We’ve become totally dependent on having a digital thermometer when cooking, especially chicken and fish. I wonder how we ever managed without them. Unfortunately, many we have owned had small, somewhat hard to see displays — and worse, were fragile. Many broke after relatively short lifespans. This thermometer is larger, beefier, and has a large easy to read display. That the probe folds (like a pocketknife) reduces the overall length to less than most of the “small” thermometers. It also has a magnet built-in, a great feature. We keep it on the same magnetic wall strip that holds the cooking knives. I hope it lasts as long as it appears that it will.

I have used this on fish. chicken and beef. It works great. I like how it shuts off when closed. I like that it’s magnetic and I can attach right to grill area fir quick access.

I have been wanting a meat thermometer and this one has been great! I love how easily you can read the display and how it fits so comfortably in your hand. I like the fact that it came with an extra battery and a manual for the temperature of all the meat. It is also very fast at reading what the temperature is.
