I was looking for a covered dish to microwave mushrooms and found this set, which includes a small dish perfect for mushrooms. I appreciated that all the dishes came with covers. The smallest dish is also ideal for steaming corn on the cob and asparagus in the microwave. It’s challenging to find a microwave container with a cover that’s long enough for these foods without being too wide.
Although the product description suggests these dishes are good for lasagna, they’re not deep enough unless you make a two-layer lasagna. I wouldn’t use them for freezing, but they’re great for baking, cooking, or reheating in the microwave or oven. The covers fit tightly, making them difficult to remove, so I don’t push them down completely when steaming or reheating to allow steam to escape.
What I like about this set is that the lids have height to them, so food doesn’t stick to them when covered. Not to mention that $25 for four dishes is a steal.

So far we are quite happy with these. It offers a lot of food storage options and seems sturdy glass. We’ve used them mostly in the oven and fridge so far. They appear sturdy and well made. These should last a long time and have given us more variety in baking sizes.

The lids Don’t fit well and pop off. It is probably best to pay the extra money and buy Pyrex.

These are a smaller, thinner, and lighter than others I have used. They all stack inside each other easily, and the lids were able to withstand being washed in the lower rack of the dishwasher. When they are all stacked together, they only take up about the same amount of space as my older heavier version. So, you get four for the same storage space as one.

Let’s clear the air on this – these are not leak proof as the description says, but they are leak resistant. If turned over or on their sides for an extended period, they will leak. That said, the tops on Corning and Pyrex are loose and let air pass through so these do have a much better seal on them. Normal sloshing of items when carried or moved around will not cause a spill like they will on the other makers.
Lids fit tightly and seem durable enough to last. The dishes can nest and they are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. There were no off odors in the packaging and they arrived intact (nothing broken). If you are looking for some reasonably priced glass baking dishes, these are a good option.

These containers are fairly large and heavy and I feel like I’m going to break one whenever I carry one around. I don’t bake large meals very often, but these can come in handy whenever I make something large or something like brownies. I’ve been using metal pans for so long and something like this just feels cleaner to me. The covers are plastic.
