Initially, this burner was a puzzle – it wouldn’t turn on because no pot on it. Once sorted, it heated up impressively fast. My husband tested it with a Lodge iron griddle before our camping trip – it heated evenly, which was a nice surprise! It has a fan, but it’s not so loud that you’d barely notice it. And there is no risk of melting plastic casings!

Have been using this induction cooktop for almost 5 months and have tried many recipes. Temperature mode for slow cooking or frying is just okay. I understand that the sensor under the glass top isn’t perfect, so the set temperature isn’t always accurate—this is common with induction cooktops. Sometimes, I still prefer using my air fryer for these cooking. But I love the HEAT function for quick cooking. Boiling water for pasta or steaming veggies is easy at 1800 watts. Simple, fast, and convenient, especially with the time setting. Way easier than my gas range.

I daily used this induction burner over 3 months. It heats water so fast, I’m talking minutes to boil, which is perfect when I’m rushing to make dinner after work. It’s compact too, fitting nicely on my countertop without taking up much space. Noise from the fan is low compared to our old top. It’s perfect for quickly whipping up pasta or heating sauces, just quick, easy cooking. At a much higher price point, I also have a 4 hob drop-in range top that is nice for high power output but missing the timer and temp feature. Overall, I would buy this one.

I was cooking on a hot plate as my main cooking. This one is like cooking on a real stove with temperature options. It doesn’t take up a lot of space but the burner can handle a bigger pot than my old one. Exhaust fan is great power and low noice.

The ChangBERT induction cooktop is a game-changer! With 10 power levels and 11 temperature settings, it heats up quickly and cooks food faster than my old stove. The stable high-power output and efficient heat distribution make every cooking session a breeze. Its large cooking area and commercial-grade durability are perfect for my restaurant. The multiple safety features give me peace of mind, and the compact design is ideal for my small kitchen. Plus, it’s super easy to clean! The 10-hour timer is a bonus for long cooking sessions. Highly recommend this top-notch induction cooktop!

As an avid home cook and culinary enthusiast, I’ve had the pleasure of using induction cooktops for over a decade. Throughout my culinary journey, I have come to appreciate the convenience and efficiency that these cooktops offer. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the evolution of technology and the introductions of various models into the market.

The initial impression that led me to choose this model was due to its stainless steel housing, which promises durability and long-lasting performance. The glass top is nicely sealed on its top from spills and there’s an extension off the back which I imagine helps protect the cord and fan exhaust openings. Even after years of use, it won’t damage to the cooktop’s exteriors. I have used several cooktops with plastic casings in the past, the casings cracked in some of them. Since I acquired it in March, it has withstood the test of time and intense cooking sessions for daily use.

This unit may be compact in size when compared to the commercial grade models in the market, but it packs a powerful punch after I draw it at 1800W. Take 8 qt stockpot, for example, it just boils water in around 18 minutes, which is a remarkable 5-minute FASTER than my previous home-used models. This result is vastly improved efficiency.

Unlike other brands I’ve explored, most of them tend to drop their max power after just 7 minutes of cooking, This reduction, however, isn’t evident from their display, which consistently reads as 1800 watts. Yet, through my watts up meter, I’ve verified that these units actually draw a lower power, such as 1500 watts. When it comes to frying, which it might not be as significant in a short cooking time. However, when dealing with boiling with large stockpot, the disparity becomes readily apparent. In fact, I conducted rigorous testing, boiling and observing for over an hour, this unit consistently maintained its max power output. I’m inclined to believe that this unit incorporates a special construction or inside components designed to prevent overheating and drop the power.

The low noise level of this induction cooktop truly caught my attention. Based on my experience with various brands of induction cooktops, the inclusion of a fan for ventilation typically introduces a certain level of noise. However, what truly surprised me about this model is the remarkably low noise level it maintains even at high power setting.

I also chose this unit due to the sloped front keypad. It allows me to quickly adjust, but not so sensitive with touching screen if any sauce spilled over or my hands are wet. And one good thing is the ability to press a control button once and then make continuous adjustments. This means that you’ve selected the desired function, you can then easily adjust the setting without the need to repeatedly press the buttons, included its max timer setting up to 10 hours.

For the sloped front keypad, I can easily use it with my larger pot top and have no fear of any pot tipper over. Plus, since the pots don’t cover it up, I don’t run the risk of accidentally touching a pad next to a hot pot and burning my fingers.

Yet for my favorite feature is 10 hours slow cook function, for instance, I follow up a recipe that say cook on low for a long time, I can set the timer and the unit turns itself off at the exact right moment. This really comes in handy when you’re cooking up a storm low and slow, like when you’re braising meats for 3 to 4 hours overnight.

For Temperature setting, it’s crucial to understand at first what the difference is between HEAT and TEMP. setting. The temperature sensor of the induction is under the glass surface. Even I practice times to use somewhat larger pans up to the width of the cooking surface if I use a lower temperature and heat setting to see the difference. I am difficult to say which brands of cooktops are accurate. For fast cooking, such as boiling or steaming, using the “HEAT” function to save time is highly recommended. For deep-frying, slow cook, or browning, etc., it’s advisable to utilize the “Temp.” function and the cooking time may be slightly longer compared to using the “HEAT” function.

As a bonus, I tried to set it up outside by a rectangular 18 inch Length griddle when I am camping in this summer holiday. I’ve noticed that the center heating area for this model is bigger than my previous ones. When the foods tends to brown faster, I shift them to cooler spots where there’s residual heat but not as intense as the center. I tried this before with cheaper induction because the plastic housing was cracked with larger pan in a higher cooking temperature after some uses. Of course, please be cautious of the hot handles on the griddle and the metal surface of the cooktop after use.

With daily use near these 6 months, and I am already spoiled. This solid performance has reinforced my decision to choose a cooktop with stainless steel housing. Of course, its continuous high-power performance is the best thing I like it, I recommended this Pro model!!!

Dec. 2023: After daily use for 9 months haven’t changed my mind. A durable product and the function is still working well.

I have natural gas stove, and I swear this heats up my inductions pans faster than natural gas can. It’s so freaking powerful. Take a lot of energy so don’t plug any in the same outlet when in use. Super easy to clen and no flame to worry about but does get hot.

As a unmarried male living by myself in a small studio with out a cooktop, the Induction Cooktop has been an super addition to my kitchen. Its compact length suits perfectly in my constrained area, and its portability lets in me to shop it away without difficulty when not in use.

The cooktop’s excessive efficiency and quick warmth-up time have made cooking a breeze. With 10 preset energy tiers and 11 temperature settings, it gives versatility for various cooking wishes, from boiling water to frying veggies. The 1800W strength ensures that cooking is speedy, that’s particularly useful for quick meals after a protracted day.

One of the standout features is its huge 8-inch heating coil, which provides even heat distribution. This ensures that my food are cooked evenly, decreasing the threat of burning. The stainless-steel and plastic creation gives it a sturdy and durable feel, at the same time as the easy-to-smooth glass pinnacle surface makes upkeep simple. There’s no open flame, which provides a layer of protection in my small space.

The built-in safety capabilities, such as car-pan detection, overheat protection, and automobile shutdown, supply me peace of mind, specially seeing that I sometimes get distracted whilst cooking. The low noise level is every other advantage, making it unobtrusive during operation.

The consumer-pleasant push-button controls are truthful, even for someone who isn’t always very tech-savvy. The 10-hour timer is especially on hand for gradual-cooking recipes, allowing me to set it and forget about it whilst attending to different tasks.

The Induction Cooktop is an ideal fit for my way of life. It gives the functionality of a complete-sized cooktop without taking up a good deal space. It’s efficient, clean to use, and secure, making it an ideal solution for simple cooking in a small studio apartment. I enormously advocate it to everyone in a comparable residing state of affairs.

The cooktop was well packaged. Setup was easy. Just plug in and turn it on. I was quite surprised how fast the cooker got hot. To boil water was faster than my own induction top. Maybe I will use this instead of my induction range…. hahah. One of the benefits of have an induction was no messy flames so the handles stayed cool. Did I also say this thing is portable? This is a nice edition to my kitchen.
