      It is easy to operate, easy to clean and there are thousands of recipes on the internet to use. While it is big and takes up valuable counter space, it is woth it. A

      I’m a clean freak. Unlike those units that have a basket in a basket. This one simply has a flat plate with open slots at the bottom. The drawer/basket is a nice stick free as is the plate. I put both in the dishwasher. That might be against the rules, but after dozens of washes I see no degradation. It’s not a super high end quality. But for the money it’s a great value. I’ve also used it to bake small single serving frozen things that would normally be done in the Microwave, but taste better is cooked in an oven.

      I got this air fryer mostly as an alternative to my “Fry Daddy” deep fryer. Deep fryers are OK, but they are sometimes messy, hard to clean, and require frequent oil changes. I want a quick easy way to make various things like French fries, pierogis, etc. Not looking to cook complete meals or entrees in this unit.
      It works very well for my intended use. I’ve had it for a few months and used it around 40 – 50 times with no issues or problems. I did not have any issues reported in the critical reviews. It did have a bit of ‘new plastic smell’ when first received, but it went away after the initial set-up and test run. After that it has no smell and has not affected the flavor or scent of food cooked it in.
      Some say “it still says “open” when it isn’t” while inserting and/or replacing the basket. I have not had that experience at all using the fryer. I have had no rust on the unit. The basket and cooking tray are easy to clean and the non-stick coating is working well – some said the the non-stick coating is coming off, I did not see this my unit either.
      I did note that the results are much better if you use olive oil cooking spray on the food before frying. This is especially noticeable on breaded food such as chicken fingers.
      I took one star off because it comes with a terse, abbreviated guide, or manual. It gives quick, initial start-up instructions and not much else. It refers you to the internet to find more info & recipes. It’s impractical to read while holding a phone when trying to cook. And using a PC or laptop isn’t good for me either. I guess I’m a messy cook and would get any computer equipment messed-up with splashing oil, eggs, bread crumbs, etc. But as related to the convenience and food taste, the air fryer is everything I would expect in such an appliance.

      Before buying this air-fryer, I’d purchased a smaller, mini one. I used that darned thing so much that I gave IT away and bought this one! GREAT CHOICE! Listen, food actually DOES taste better with an air-fryer! And I’m not some young whipper-snapper that’s used to microwaved dishes and frozen pop tarts! I grew up on REAL food! The kind that gives you stamina, protein and tastes delicious! NOW you can have all of that, and STILL in less time and less hassle! You can check out ALL kinds of recipes for ALL kinds of foods. But back to the air-fryer. THIS ONE IS THE BOMB.COM! It is easy to use, easy to handle and clean up is a breeze! A breeze I tell you. If you haven’t checked out air-fryers but have been thinking of doing so, this is the one to consider!

      I have an older version of this air fryer that I got for my sister. This one is amazing!!! VERY quiet and cooks the food perfectly. Looks nice and she loves it!

      We’ve been through a few airfryers, this one is by far the best. I didn’t realize how important it is to have the heating element on the bottom, underneath the food. It creates better airflow, cooks the food more evenly, and is much faster. Also, I didn’t know I needed this big of a basket until I had it, now I can never go back.

      This is pretty decent, BUT you have to be prepared for the smell of burning plastic. It was only because it was brand new, and after that first time, it’s smelt normal. It cooks well, you might have to get used to it at first, but it’s a quick process. Clean up is super easy, just make sure you let it cool BEFORE cleaning, don’t want any accidents.

      We’ve used this air fryer for several months now and I am ready to report it is so nice! The basket holds a large serving of food – definitely enough for my husband & myself and I would say even for 2 other adults with reasonable servings – and cooks quickly and evenly. I’ve cooked fish, broccoli, chicken, potatoes and more – they all come out perfect. I’ve had to get used to the timing & best temps for certain foods but it is easy to make adjustments with the controls. The material of the basket itself and the removable “floor” are super easy to clean and do not show any wear & tear. I especially love it in the summer as it doesn’t heat up the kitchen. I am careful about extra appliances that take up precious counter space but this one is definitely worth it , & it’s not too bad – about a 12″ square base. I would recommend this air fryer and I hope it lasts a long time!
