I recently upgraded to the Keurig K-Elite Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker in Brushed Gold, and it has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen! This coffee maker combines style, convenience, and excellent performance, making it a must-have for any coffee lover.

First, the brushed gold finish is absolutely stunning. It adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to my kitchen counter, and the design is sleek and modern. This coffee maker is as much a statement piece as it is a functional appliance.

One of the standout features of the K-Elite is its versatility. With multiple brew sizes (4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 oz), I can easily customize my coffee to suit my mood or the size of my travel mug. The strong brew setting is perfect for those mornings when I need an extra caffeine kick, delivering a bold and robust cup of coffee.

The hot water on demand and iced coffee settings are fantastic additions. I use the hot water feature for instant soups and teas, and the iced coffee setting brews a perfect iced coffee that isn’t watered down. This all-in-one functionality makes it incredibly convenient for a variety of beverages.

Another great feature is the large water reservoir, which holds up to 75 ounces. This means I can brew multiple cups without constantly refilling, saving me time and hassle. The quiet brew technology is also a nice touch, ensuring that my early morning coffee routine doesn’t disturb the rest of the household.

Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward, with a removable drip tray and a descaling reminder to keep the machine in top condition. The K-Elite is also compatible with the My K-Cup Universal Reusable Coffee Filter, allowing me to use my favorite ground coffee.

Overall, the Keurig K-Elite Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker in Brushed Gold has exceeded my expectations. It’s stylish, versatile, and brews a perfect cup of coffee every time. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality coffee maker that combines functionality with elegance. This coffee maker is worth every penny and has made my daily coffee routine a delight!

My husband ordered this & I love it! It’s perfect in every way! I had previously decided to never buy a Keurig again because the one had before had such a strong chemical/plastic odor that I couldn’t get rid of. I tried running vinegar through it several times. I let soda water sit in it hoping it would absorb the odor. I put it outside hoping the fresh air would help. I cleaned it multiple times but the smell NEVER left. It was even in the coffee. We couldn’t drink it. But this one is exactly what I was hoping for. It works, doesn’t stink & is pretty on my coffee bar.

I got this Keurig K-Elite single serve brushed slate K cup coffee maker for my husband for Father’s Day. First of all, the brushed slate is absolutely beautiful in our kitchen. It looks exactly like the photo on the website. It is so sleek and so elegant that it really upgrades my kitchen. In fact, as soon as I put it there, I thought my house would sell quicker when I decide to sell it with this on the counter in the kitchen!

It replaced a very old Mr. coffee and also an electric tea kettle, both of which were dirty and unattractive. At first, my husband was bummed out that I had spent the money on him! He loves to pamper me and our children, but he doesn’t like any money spent on himself. I had also gotten K cup reusable cups so that he could finish the ground coffee that we already have and also test out the machine without spending a lot on K cups.

It was really easy to figure out how to start using the machine and we put our ground coffee, Folgers breakfast blend, into the reusable K cup, and a minute later, voilà, my husband had a perfect cup of coffee! Then I used the hot water feature and made myself a fantastic cup of tea. I love it. I absolutely love it and so does my husband! We are like little kids at Christmas with our new toy!

This morning, he decided to make the brew stronger for a 12 ounce cup of coffee and liked it even better. We didn’t program the hot water to be hot when we got downstairs to the kitchen this morning but the water heats up so quickly it’s like a miracle to us.

By using the reusable K cups, and the ground coffee that we buy in a big container, a cup of coffee cost only about five cents. Whereas if I buy the Folgers breakfast blend K cups, each coffee cup costs about $.53! So my husband is very happy to use the reusable K cups and discovered this morning that it was very easy to dump out the grounds after he had finished and rinse out the K cup for the next use. He is delighted with his new gift and delighted that we can use reusable K cups and save the money! And I am incredibly happy to see him happy ! Keurig, you have made this elderly couple very, very happy.

Our 6 year old K75 died recently. The typical with those, the air pump went out on it. So I looked into the new ones and went with the Elite. I read several reviews that said it made weak coffee even with the strong brew setting turned on. There were way more positive reviews, so I pulled the trigger and went for it. I can’t help but think that the people that left the reviews saying the coffee was weak, were trying to brew a travel mug size with a single coffee pod. I’ll explain why I think this further into the review.
First, lets talk about the physical aspects of this machine. Quality seems to be much higher than on our old one. It just feels more solid, the bale is actually made of metal on the Elite, it was plastic on the K75. It’s smooth operating and just feels solid. The water reservoir is larger and has a much better sliding attachment system. Very easy to get on and off. The drip tray is not as tall, so you can get taller mugs under it without removing the drip tray, and if you do have to remove it, it’s quick and easy. No water reservoir on the left side to get int the way anymore. So I feel the design if far superior to that of the K75, at least on the outside.
Now, as far as how well the Elite brews coffee. Absolutely phenomenal cup of coffee. Best we have had from a Keurig ever! So, let me preface this a little bit. We personally don’t use the coffee pods, as we don’t like to contribute to plastic in the landfill if we don’t have to. We get whole bean coffee and grind it fresh with a high quality burr grinder and use the “My K-Pod”. This actually has two fill lines for coffee grounds. One for normal size mugs and one for travel mugs. My wife and I like our coffee strong, and we use a dark roast, so we filled the My K-Pod with coffee to just below the travel mug size. Set the Keurig Elite to strong brew and then selected the largest mug size, which says it’s 10oz. This made a really good, strong, full flavored cup of coffee. Far, far better than our old K75 could do. We did the same with our K75, even selected a smaller cup size and couldn’t get anywhere near the strength that we are getting with the Keurig Elite. I wasn’t happy about having to buy a new coffee maker, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We are very very happy with the purchase. You won’t be disappointed with this, especially if you like to grind your own coffee.
So, this leads me to think that maybe some of the people that left one star reviews were using normal coffee pods, possibly using a light or medium roast, and selecting a large cup size. Of course, I don’t know this for sure, but then one star reviewers rarely put any detail into their reviews. It’s one star and one sentence. If you want good coffee, grind it fresh with a good quality grinder and use the My K-Pod. This gives you control over freshness, grind quality, and you can put in more grounds than a standard K-Cup. Follow the instructions, don’t grind the coffee too fine, don’t overfill and don’t compress the coffee grounds. You should be able to shake the My K-Pod and hear them moving inside, (make sure you have the lid on when you do this). If you can’t get a good cup of coffee out this, then you are doing something wrong.

I have had several Keurigs over the years so well aware of their performance and ability to last for many years. I decided to replace my basic keurig for the elite with iced coffee option because my daughter and I both love iced coffee! This one is a little wider than the basic but I don’t feel it is so much bigger..it fits perfectly on my counter. The color is perfect. We made iced coffee and it was so easy..you literally put ice in your cup choice and press the “iced” button. My daughter has all her Starbucks creamers and also some syrups..she loved it and hopefully this will cut down on the Starbucks trips LOL! Both iced and regular coffee is easy and fast. I love the hot water feature also and it used it the other morning for my oatmeal. I am happy I decided to get the elite as I feel we will use it more than the basic Keurig we replaced.

These don’t last forever, but this is a replacement purchase for one (this exact model) we bought over 5 years ago that just went to the great coffee shop in the sky. I’m not diligent about the descaling process, so 5 years is a pretty good run as far as I’m concerned.

We set the timer to heat the water just about the time our alarm clock goes off, and when we arrive in the kitchen, we both have coffee ready in less time than it takes our eyes to finally open all the way! Then we turn it off – no use leaving it on since we’re “one coffee in the morning and an occasional cup later in the day” people.

When cooking, if the recipe calls for a cup or two of hot water, or some broth, we fire this up and get quick hot water into a Pyrex cup. We use the Better Than Bouillon broth stuff, it works great.

This product works great. It’s got a sleek black appearance and is very slim. I like to schedule my coffee so it is ready in the morning. It has multiple different cup sizes, you can just get hot water from it for tea, and the iced coffee feature.

We did have an issue with the first one we ordered as it did not work. I did spend an hour on the phone with customer service. However, they did replace my machine and I had a new one within a week.

I’ve been using the Keurig K-Elite Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker for a few weeks now, and it’s become an indispensable part of my morning routine. The sleek brushed slate design adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen countertop, but it’s the performance that truly impresses.

Firstly, the 12 oz. brew size option is perfect for me as I like my coffee strong and robust. The convenience of brewing a large cup without sacrificing flavor is a game-changer. Plus, with the multiple brew size options, I can cater to different preferences when friends and family visit.

The machine heats up incredibly fast, so I never have to wait long for my caffeine fix. The strong brew option ensures that even with larger cups, I get that rich, full-bodied taste I crave. And the best part? It’s remarkably easy to use. The intuitive controls make it effortless to customize my brew just the way I like it.

Cleanup is a breeze too, thanks to the removable drip tray and easy-to-clean parts. I appreciate that I can spend more time enjoying my coffee and less time on maintenance.

Overall, the Keurig K-Elite has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, convenience, and style. If you’re a coffee enthusiast looking for a hassle-free way to enjoy quality brews every day, this is the machine for you. Highly recommended!

    9. Carol

I’ve had a Keurig with a clock for years. Have been watching for one to replace it since I have it set up to start and stop in the morning. Spotted this during prime days at a very good price and decided to replace the one I have since it needs some pampering upon occasion.

    10. Just a thought..

Hot water for oatmeal, and im an iced coffee girl, and iced tea. I make it really thick, save in the fridge, or with 2 pods on smallest so its stong wont be thin melted water. Creamer 1st helps.
But we have one house but i wanted more room so he built me an inlaw house so we had 2, but we were always here so morning mine was one kind of ( hot chocolate, carmel, or hazelnut capachino, then add espresso) so i had 2 small ones, one cup, he had 2 cups. Been used 5 years no problem still.
He was a contractor so got stuff they throw out, he put a new one in his house, they got some fancy one, but if he was up at 4am he went to his house, complained his was broken, he had it set to heat one cup so it was off when he went to make his. Typical boy i made it come on 3am so it’s fine..
So i read bad reviews..um..they do have some that leak, break down, or water réservoir in not in the right place for you. Duh..that was all personal prefence, and things break, leak, or you cant figure out settings. We were laughing cause u get things that often break, or your coffee isnt hot enough but u can turn it up.
So i read those and laugh.
My 80 year old parents got one, love iced tea, hot water and all those things. They figured it out.
It was my old one cause i wanted the élite but they wanted an élite so we got a new one gave them our old one, they put the original in the guest house. Itll work as they should. And mom n dad didnt know how to clean it so i say, take the pod out, pod holder comes out clean that run hot water though it. Worked.. but she came over when i was sick to clean up, she didn’t know the bottom try came off and was cleaning it. Lol i grabbed it rinsed it with water and put it back. I said, u have one genious how do u clean yours? She said, i didnt know, i feel stupid, much easier! Duh.
Its great! We all love them 5 years on 3, 2 years with one, the original still working just came out so 10 years still works!
