[The Good]
Machine: The brewing is fast and makes good home-brewed coffee. Especially with the “Strong” mode and “6oz” option, you can taste strong coffee with different flavors easily at home
Water Tank: The water tank is spacious, and allows you to make enough cups of coffee for a full-day use. So you do not have to go back-and-forth to kitchen to refill for every cup you made
Brewing: Most brewing machine in market gave 8oz to 12oz, which gives me a flavor less than desirable. The 6oz option may be important if you prefer strong taste coffee
[The bad]
Coffee pods: Some coffee brands only make pods for Keurig / Nesspresso, so I would recommend you to check out the flavour you like and whether the coffee pods fit your own preference before you make you decision
De-scaling: THIS IS IMPORTANT ! Although the product description did not tell you, Keurig machine have a “de-scaling” light, which would turn on automatically to ask you to clean it up. Although cleaning coffee machine is a recommended practice, there is chances that the De-scaling light would not turn-off even even after you follow the cleaning instructions. The consequences is that you can no longer make coffee once the de-scaling light is on. I have tried to repeat the cleaning process with running few bottles of distilled water, cleaning solutions, and the Descaling light still remain ON after 9 months of cleaning that I do daily/weekly.
[Final Verdict]
This is an excellent machine and produce rich flavor coffee when it functions.
Problem starts when the “descaling” light turns on. Once it turns-on, you have to follow the instructions to perform cleaning process. For my own situation, after 2 or 3 times of descaling, the descaling light refuse to turn-off again. The descaling detection appear to be very sensitive, and there would be chances that descaling light do not turn-off even after cleaning the coffee machine according to instruction. There is NO option to manually turn-off the descaling light.
Recommend to visit Youtube and search for descaling instructions and read the user comments. Appear this problem has been encountered by Keurig users.
This appears to be a potential product design defect, so buy at your own risk

This coffee maker fits our lifestyle just fine. It looks nice in the kitchen and takes up little space. We prefer to use reusable K Cups so we can prepare our own blends and save the landfill. We also drink tea and this machine makes preparing a cup of tea easy.

Keurig® K-Supreme Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, MultiStream Technology, Gray
The coffee maker comes packaged in a retail box, exactly as you’d see on the shelf in the store. There are photos on the outside and basic specifications listed. Opening the box, right on top. You have what appears to be an instruction booklet, a filter assembly, and a coffee filter. The coffee maker is cushioned well using recyclable pulp-style cardboard packing. The coffee maker itself is further. Cushioned by a large foam bag. The removable pieces of the coffee maker are taped with that removable appliance tape we’re all familiar with. One feature of the coffee maker that I hadn’t realized from the pictures in the ad, the water reservoir has a large handle molded into it, to make it easier to pick up and move when you’re refilling it. The lid over the pod section is very different from their earlier machines, it has five prongs that protrude out from the upper gasket, what looks like an oversized piercing needle, and four locator/ spacer prongs. The pod holder does pop out for cleaning or using a bulk coffee adapter, but it is pretty stiff to remove. It has a locator notch and three little snaps around the circumference to lock it in place.
When setting up the coffee maker, after washing the reservoir, you’ll have to soak the carbon filter assembly before putting it into the filter holder. The filter holder is a little different from what I’ve seen in the past, this one is completely clear plastic and has a snap arrangement at the bottom for the filter. You have to press both sides at once to get the filter holder out, which isn’t evident at first. If you look closely at the two sides you’ll see where you are supposed to press. There is a paper insert in the same plastic bag that holds the filter assembly, giving you step-by-step instructions and some helpful pictures.
Looking at the packet with the instruction booklet, they note in several places that this is a new design that can use standard pods, but if you wish to use bulk coffee, you’ll need a new adapter as the bulk coffee K-cup adapter is different from the old style. They have an explicit warning stating that you must use the new style adapter with the machine, and that the older style is not compatible.
After cleaning and soaking the carbon pod for the water filtering, you’ll have to make certain that you rinse it thoroughly, as there is indeed some charcoal dust that will come out of the filter. After you have put it into the new style holder, the holder has a snap-in locking mount at the bottom of the water tank. It takes a little bit of fiddling about, but once you have it in the right position it will click and snap into place. The new instructions for this machine recommend what they call a cleansing brew before trying to make coffee in it. When you first plug it in, all four cup sizes will blink. They recommend choosing the 8 oz button and then pressing the brew to start a cleansing brew to clean the machine. They note that you only have to do this one time, but I would recommend doing this after making hot chocolate or similar powdered non-coffee brews, as if the chocolate dries in the needles it can clog things up. Up.
Also included in the instruction pack is a notation that you can save 50% off of K-cups from Keurig.com if you register your new coffee maker, and they also include printed grocery coupons for money off of pods and the descaling liquid they recommend.
Making coffee with this machine is a similar procedure to the ones they’ve had in the past. The difference is what the machine does to the pod. Those five little protrusions under the lid all poke into the top of the pod, so you’re used. Pod has a pattern of holes on the top in it like a five on a die. The bottom of the pod still has one hole, like we’ve seen in the past. I can only presume that those five holes are all pushing steam and hot water into the pod to process the coffee better. Personally, I can’t see where it changes the taste of the coffee much, it tastes like it always does. Hot, smooth, and full.
Being naturally curious, I had to pick open the cover on the used pod. To me, it seems like the used pods’ grounds are dryer than some of the old ones. I think this is where the five holes in the top come in. The machine has forced the water (As steam?) through the pod harder and faster to thoroughly brew the coffee.

As far as Keurig coffee makers go, this one is relatively slim in design and certainly easy to use. I like the fact that the water reservoir is slim and that you have two options of where to place it. If you have it on the side, it is a perfect fit for the Sicheer sliding coffee maker tray with storage. I f you are considering this coffee machine, you should definitely consider buying the Sicheer storage unit. It is so convenient to slide the machine out from under the kitchen cabinet rather than having to lift it.
The Keurig has a choice of 6,8,10,or 12 ounce servings along with the option of regular or a “strong” brew. I prefer 10oz strong brew. It has a bold flavor that isn’t bitter. I haven’t yet tried the “over ice” option Perhaps in the near future. I have always used drip coffee makers in the past. I have to admit , this is much easier and more convenient.

I bought this for my husband. He loves strong coffee and really likes the feature that allows the coffee to be brewed stronger. We’ve had the coffeemaker about three weeks. So far it has worked very well. We’ve hosed several family dinners. Each guest that has used the coffeemaker has been pleased with the features and enjoyed the coffee it makes.
The ability to station the water reservoir on the side or in the back is very convenient. The reservoir is easy to remove to refill. I’m very pleased with this Keurig, but the price is rather high.

My husband and I have used Keurig products and love them. Our previous Keurig (the one with the coffee pot) was much bigger and took up a lot of counter space. I got it because hubby mentioned he’d like an actual coffee pot at times. It has never been used ~ ha ~ so much for that. I have now decided to donate the Keurig with the coffee pot. We have just started using this new one. We don’t need fancy. But I have to say that this Keurig is beating all of the others we have had! Easy to use; not noisy; immediately heats the water; and is smaller but still mighty! I love that the water reservoir has a handle on it. It is the perfect model for us old people who don’t need fancy. I do want to try the “over ice” function soon ~ I’m afraid I might get hooked :p All in all, this is a great Keurig!

I can’t say enough about this machine. It makes me happy every time I look at it. It’s quieter than my Duo or Classic were, and holds more water. It doesn’t take up a lot of space on my counter as it’s more compact than my old machines were.
There are a couple of minor cons; first, the tiny bit of spatter that it creates does show more on the grey plastic plate behind your cup so a little more wiping down is required and second, the adapter that you use to brew your own ground coffee or tea (non-pods), requires you to pop out the current basket that comes with the machine, to install the adapter. If you use only ground coffee or lose leaf tea bags, it’s no big deal. Just leave the basket out and use the adapter every time. But if you switch off between pods and fresh ground, it can get to be a bit of a pain. I circumvent that issue by using a steeping cup for my husband’s tea bags and pods for my coffee.
Overall, I love this machine more than any other Keurig I’ve owned. Another reviewer videoed the carafe jiggling. If you push it down until it clicks in, it won’t jiggle. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and just love it. No problems.

RECOMMENDATION:
Big Thumbs up – you actually get more out of each coffee pod with this new coffee maker
THE GOOD:
1. Keurig replaced the water boiler in older units with a new heat-on-demand system that only heats water as it is brewing the coffee. This solves one of the biggest problems with the old units – they had to keep water hot all the time so they bled heat/energy and thus were expensive to operate. That completely goes away with this new design.
2. There is a new injector system that punctures the top of the pod and injects the hot water into the coffee grounds in the pod. The number of injectors increases from 1 to 5. The net effect is that the water is better distributed throughout the grounds and thus you get more coffee out of each pod. The coffee that I brew through this new unit using the 8oz and ‘Strong’ setting (see below) is the same strength as what I used to get on my older units on the 6oz setting.
3. The water reservoir can be positioned to the side or rear of the unit, which is good for fitting into narrower spaces.
4. There is a ‘Strong’ setting what slows down the brewing process to get more flavor out of the pods. I love this as it gets more coffee out of each pod.
5. There is also an ‘iced’ setting for making iced coffee by actually brewing over ice, but have not tested that setting.
THE BAD:
1. The first couple seconds when the brewing starts, the coffee stream coming out of the maker is mostly just regular water and not coffee yet. That is because it takes the heat-on-demand system a few seconds to get hot enough to start actually start brewing coffee. That means that you can’t yank the coffee cup out from the unit after the first half of the brew cycle to get just the strongest coffee and thus the Keurig equivalent of an expresso.

I would have given this Keurig 5 stars except it’s slower than my previous ones in making coffee. The new MultiStream tech puts water through 5 different holes into the top of the k-cup, and is slower to make a cup of coffee. Not that it really matters much I guess, but when I hit snooze on the alarm and then only have 5 minutes to get my coffee and log into the computer for work, this takes more time than before
The footprint is smaller than my previous Keurig machines. I had the K-Cafe system with the side cup to heat your cream and that one is garbage, it was replaced 10 months into warranty and then the replacement died a month out of warranty with the exact same issue. I still use the 10 year old Keurig as my back up. it works great, but the pump is super noisy now and vibrates the whole counter top. Thus getting this one as a replacement. It’s super quiet, holds just over 60 ounces (my mug takes 20 ounces and i can fill it 3 times before the water is out).
I’d recommend this unit to anyone. Just don’t buy the k-cafe one, you’ll regret it like i did.

Never been a coffee drinker, but I’ve tried many times over the years, getting various coffee makers including the prestigious Mocha Master. Just never clicked for me though. I’d buy a coffee maker, try it out, and then give it away. Instant ones with pods, ones that use grounds. Didn’t matter.
But I’m getting tired of seeing health benefits of drinking a moderate amount of coffee, so figured since I don’t DISLIKE it, I may as well go for it. And I still had the last thing I tried, a Nutri Bullet pod one, and just didn’t like it. Figured if I’m going to get serious, get something a bit more serious.
This one came up with good reviews and the name brand was recommended to me by a product designer friend in Boston who actually has worked with this company in the past. So I took the chance.
Night and day compared to my other coffee attempts. The unit is well built and designed, simple to use, doesn’t feel cheap. The flip up cover for the pod compartment locks solid, never hangs up and doesn’t rattle at all, it’s snug. Button presses work every single time. Never had to hit something a second time.
Initially I wanted the water in the back to make it more streamlined, but I find I prefer it on the side for the ease of refilling.
I haven’t bothered with the filter yet since we have really good water where I live.
I like the option for the stronger brew, and the various sizes. I always just do the biggest size and strong brew. And I like that even doing a slower strong brew, it still finishes faster than the others I had when doing normal.
I also appreciate that it STOPS DRIPPING when it finishes brewing. Some I’d have would drip randomly for a few minutes after I removed the cup.
I’ve only tried a few different brand pods in here, and all work well. I like that this has the multiple water feed since I see they’re changing some things up so at least I’ll be more compatible moving forward with newer pods.
For the price, this was a gamechanger for me. I’m now drinking coffee each day – at least most of them, since it’s still a new thing for me so not part of my auto pilot routine…
