Non-contact Infrared Thermometer: 1. Temperature range : -50°C to 400°C(-58°F to 752°F) 2. Accuracy: ±1.5°C or ±1.5% 3. °C/ °F setting 4. Resolution: 0.1°C or 0.1 °F 5. Operating temperature: 10-40°C, humidity: 10-90 RH 6. Storage temperature: -10-40°C 7. Response time: ≤0.8 second 8. Distance to Spot Ratio: 12:1 9. Emissivity setting: 0.1-0.99(de°Fault value:0.95, testing different material easy and accuracy) 10. Power: 2pcs 1.5V battery 11. Back lighting 12. Automatic power °F in 10 seconds 13. Use in: Industrial thermometer, kitchen temperature, object’s serface temperature etc. Kindly tips: D : S= 12 : 1, means the Distance to the Spot Size of the unit is 12 : 1. As the Distance(D) from the target surface increases, the spot size of the area measured(S) by the unit becomes larger. So in order to get more accurate temperature, please pay attention to the Distance to Spot Size, or it will get some error if you neglect this. Thermometer collects the infrared radiation energy from surface of the stuff that is focused by red laser, and transfer this information into electric signal via photodetector, then analyze and calculate its temperature. So please keep in mind that what you get is the surface temperature not inside temperature. Package Include: 1 x Temperature Gun 1 x User Manual 1 pair x AAA battery

    1. RWR

      Easy to use

    2. Mark T Goodman

Works perfectly to check oven temp or a/c outlet temp. Love it.

    3. Hunter

Works well enough. Must hold very close (within a couple inches of banger) to get an accurate reading. The IR temperature sensor works like a flashlight beam, the closer you are, the more focused of a reading you’ll get. the farther away you are, the beam is spread wider and gives a less accurate reading.

Works really good. It takes 2 batteries, which come with the product, but we had to change them since they were old. Overall does the job.

Bought due to recommendation. Seems to work well. I just wish I would’ve bought a rechargeable one, since I hate buying batteries.

I use it to measure the temperatures inside the house, and outside. You can measure the temperature in any given space simply by pointing the laser beam and pulling the trigger switch. It’s a great buy for anyone wanting to measure ambient temperature outside, an appliance, an engine. Mechanics use these tools which are way more expensive. Any these tools are very accurate.

I’m still learning how to use this. The laser light seems to go through dishes and pans, so I’m not sure if I’m getting the correct temp of what’s in the pan, or the surface temp of what the pan is sitting on. I use this when making soap, in the cooling process. But I like it and will continue to use it. I often compare temps with another thermometer I have. It’s a learning process.

I bought this for my outdoor pizza oven. We needed to check the temperature of our pizza stone and not trust the gauge that comes with the oven. I now have the perfect temperature before I place my pizza to cook and what a difference it makes when we are having a party, and multiple pizzas are being baked!

    9. Hao Wu

Cheap, reliable, ez to use. That’s it.

    10. Amazon Customer

The thermometer is easy to use, and has sped up my soap making process. The batteries last a long time. Bonus: it also makes a nice laser toy for cats!
