      Cookin' With Squirrl

I was not a fan of this particular KitchenAid product. The grip of the blender does not feel good in the hand at all. I’m not sure if it is a requirement for all wireless tools such as this but it has a dual-button system to turn it on. The system is very uncomfortable to use on top of the already bad design of the handle. The time I did use it it did function well as far as power and vortexing but it was not for me due to the other issues.

I’ve been using a wired KitchenAid hand blender for over five years and have been very happy with it. Now that I have this similar small appliance without the cord, I can tell you it is a game changer in my kitchen.

This hand blender is elegant and well-made, and it is a great upgrade over my corded one. It is made of high quality stainless steel, the blade is quite sharp, and having a guard at the bottom is a good idea because it helps to protect the cookware from scratches. The blender runs well, and the noise level is acceptable. The trigger has variable speed, and I like the added safety button that must be pressed first to unlock the trigger.

I didn’t notice a difference in weight between this blender and my corded one, which is great because I expected it to be heavier because of to the battery. The battery has a USB-C port and may be charged using the included cable and power adapter. Upon checking out the KitchenAid page on Amazon, I found that a (KitchenAid Go Cordless USB Charging Dock) is also available for sale. The great thing about KitchenAid’s new wireless line of product is that it allows you to use the same battery in multiple small  appliances, which is similar to cordless power tools.

It’s a well made product with perfect KitchenAid quality. When I looked at it I was really excited to see a cordless system for Kitchen appliance. This is step in the right direction I thought but when I used it I am not too convinced. As I mentioned it’s a nicely made unit with very limited noise while blending. Power is great too and cleaning is easy as well. However where I have doubt is the usability. I am pretty sure the battery would discharge over time and if I don’t use it everyday I’ll forget it to charge and one day when I need it the battery would be dead and I’ll have to use something else. However, the situation might not apply to you or if you are using it everyday you would see when better is running out of juice and you will charge it overnight. I haven’t come across that issue for now and it might not be far out. Other than that it’s a good product. I hope there are more usage with the same battery like you have for garage tools so that you remember to charge the battery.

My old stick blender (a Chefman) battery died so I bought this as a replacement because I trust the brand. It’s different. You have 2 buttons to push at the same time to make it operate and the battery wasn’t all that impressive but maybe I didn’t have it fully charged. But these things are the bomb when making homemade mayonnaise. That’s when it will really let me know how much I’ll like it.

Kitchenaid is a go to brand for my household. By far can not beat the quality that is built to last unlike some cheaper brands. This has worked great for milk shakes, smoothies, and whipped coffee. The ease of use mixed with the simplicity of cleaning up afterwards has made this a new favorite in my home. It’s so easy to use my kids have taken up to using it for after school snacks and quick breakfasts.

Got this for my mom and loves it. She loves that she can leave it on the counter without the cords getting in the way. She also said the charge lasts a long time.

      UPDATE:
I use this multiple times during the week and have only had to charge the battery once.
Also has a battery indicator on the side.
      Excellent product!

So far I really like my KitchenAid Go™ Cordless Hand Blender.
It comes with the blender, the battery, charging cable and cube, blending cup and cover, and a pan guard attachment to protect when using in your cookware.

My plan was to use this for coffee concoctions and mixed drinks.
It does so much more. There’s even a wee recipe guide to try out.

I tried to find info on whether or not it allows ice cubes. Nothing. Nowhere. So, I made some hollow cubes with my counter top ice maker. They aren’t real hard like solid ones.
I made a mudslide with those ice cubes and it worked like a dream. At first, I thought the cubes must be sitting outside the blades or something bc there wasn’t even any grinding noise. But, no. It made short work of them. I still don’t know if it can handle whole ice cubes and probably won’t try that, just to be safe.

The unit is actually pretty quiet. Much more so than a traditional blender.
It is a bit awkward to use, though. You have to push the unlock button first and then push the speed button.
You have to hold them both at the same time. At the same time, you need to be sure the container you’re using stays still while you are blending.
Honestly, it’s not that bad once you get used to it. But you do need to be able to hold both buttons.
The end result was great and I’m looking forward to trying out the recipes.

I was looking for a lightweight, easy-to-use blender. One heavy enough to feel secure in my hand while also being easy to disassemble. Plus, I wanted it to look good, and this blender ticks every box.
