    1. Maricelle.

I have only used it twice. It did a good job for the soup… it’s very powerful.. and beautiful. However, for smoothies I rather like the blender. Yes, the very old model Oster which I love. Regarding the 3-cup BPA-free jar with lid that came with the hand blender ….. The lid does NOT work. It does NOT close, it’s slightly wider. Too bad, it would have been useful to store remaining soup.

It’s better than the one I replaced. I had another KitchenAid hand blender for years, but it died. We use it every morning for blended beverages and frothing. The first one came with a lot of parts and attachments. This one does not work with those! I was hoping it would, but it does not.

I do love the button on this one better; the other one wore out quickly and left a lot of the internal workings exposed. I also like how the speed is adjustable by pressure on the button. The last one had the speed adjustment dial on the top, and once the markings wore off, it was hard to know how someone had it set, and we would have accidental adjustment changes that led to minor blending disasters.

I love the color. I am thrilled with how well it blends.

Very high quality feeling device for the price point. Easy to use and clean. Its motor feels heavy yet the device does not feel heavy to use – this is well designed. The clip on guard to protect your pans is a great add in as well. Device works VERY well. Worth the extra few dollars.

Great little tool. A great choice! I find myself using it everyday. Breaks up ice into smoothies with amazing speed and power. Its so convenient on my kitchen counter. It comes with a clear glass size container that you can mix drinks in. I particularly like that the mixing blade attachment easily unscrews to put in the sink, in the dishwasher or inside the cup container to set aside, while the plug in componet stays plugged in and on the counter. I’ve used it for sauces on the stove. I have a vitamix, which is very powerful, but this tool works just as well!

We bought this to replace an older Cuisinart blender. This was more sturdy than the one we previously used. The part seem to be well constructed and fit very tight.

The guard that is available to put on the bottom allows you to use it in non-stick surfaces that can’t handle metal when you are using them to blend hot soups or sauces. This is a nice touch since the wand is full metal.

The motor is powerful. Also while there are three speeds you can vary the depth that you push the button and the motor is an infinite variations of speeds.

The blade at the bottom isn’t just a flat blade there are the two main blades plus two other notches closer to the axis of the blender. This allows for more movement of your product being Blended through the blades so it mixes more evenly and faster.

As an added bonus it comes with a mixing cup that fits perfectly for whipping small batches of eggs or whipped cream or smoothies.

I had an old Braun immersion blender that quit working, so I bought this Kitchen Aid blender. Its body and blades are all heavy duty metal. It’s very well made, easy to clean, has variable speeds and is corded. It even comes with a 3-cup blending container with lid and a protector for blending in pans. And it matches my red Kitchen Aid mixer! I use it every day for making meal replacement protein shakes. I look forward to many years of great service from this Kitchen Aid product!

      Easy to set up.
      Easy to clean.
Feels sturdy & substantial in your hand, but not too heavy. Nice balance.
      It’s quiet!
Small, I didn’t want another appliance to store or have sitting out — no blender, no bullet blender even.
Versatile – you can blend/stir anywhere — in the provided container, a pyrex measuring cup, a pot of soup, vs having to put ingredients in a blender.
      Variable speed – very useful
And last… the blades are nice and sharp, unlike a cheapie version I purchased. It comes with a blade guard as well.
This is an appliance that will see heavy use! I purchased when on sale, but it’s worth it even when not. You pay for the quality build and it delivers.

Mine’s easy to clean and easy to use. Powerful. But don’t use it on things that are just supposed to be chopped or diced – you’ll end up too liquified. You’ll learn quickly, though, like I did.

I love this ! Strong motor. EASY TO CLEAN ! I just put the beater part in a glass and run it. Perfectly clean. Worth every penny.
