This is my second frother, the first one died after just a few months of very little use.
In comparison, this frother, right out the box yells quality! Everything about it justifies the purchase price, based on its appearance.
In use, unfortunately, it’s not fast in heating up the milk, at all. It’s going to take like 5-7 minutes with whole milk right out of the refrigerator. There must be a heat timer that shuts off the operation when it’s done, which does not make the milk hot, it’s more on the warmer side. I do find myself running the process a couple of times to attempt to bring the heat up. I may need to preheat the milk in the microwave to get the desired temperature.
So, if you’re not in a rush, like a lazy Sunday, not a busy Monday… This may be right for you. Just be aware, that you will be able to prepare an entire breakfast, eggs and all, by the time you’re able to make your Latte!

I’m obsessed with little machine, i been using it almost everyday, follow the directions and you can’t go wrong. It warms up to so good, warms up actually to hot. I even bought one for my niece for Christmas, she was so excited to have one because she used mine when she comes to by house. I has research and research on the best flother machine, this is the one. Easy to clean and stainless steel

I have always used my espresso machine frother but never really made good froth, I even tried the stick frother which cost about $10 and that was somewhat useless.
I have a few of these now, the first one is a few years old. The AmazonBasic frother makes cold or hot foam, it also can just heat milk. It cost about $35.
Then I tried out two newer frothers. Wow, very silky froth. They both range in the $40-50 range but so worth it. I make warm milk for the kids to do cocoa and make warm froth for coffee drinks.
The GOLMEZIL frother was $49.99. It’s easy to use and makes creamy silky froth. It states it heats to 65C/149F but didn’t quite get that warm. I do like that the entire whisk comes out to be cleaned and that it’s magnetic. Overall, it’s very nice but didn’t get milk really hot.
The Thereye Milk Frother was $40.99 and it has the same features as the other one I tried, except it actually makes 2 different types of heated froth, which was great.
The Melitta frother is definately built more like a high-end frother, it looks very attractive. It’s best feature is that you can put the stainless steel steamer in the dishwasher for cleaning. It’s a big bonus over the others. However, it is more than 2x the price of all the others.

Had to search long and hard to come across this one but what a find! We’ve been through a few of these with marginal performance/design but this product stands out. Granted it’s made in China but I guarantee it was designed in Germany. If it last a year it was worth every penny. Great performance and design! Controls, cleanup, function, product, and ease-of-use are all exceptional.

This is a very, very nice milk frother from Melitta, which definitely lives up to my expectations for a Melitta product. It has excellent blending power and is easy to use.
This frother is also very easy to clean. I love that the milk pitcher comes off its heating and power platform for using and serving. The machine doesn’t take up too much counter space, which is a big plus for me. I have an espresso machine that has its own milk frother, but I’d rather have a separate frother; to me, these are easier to clean. This one is very easy to clean.
This milk frother is a wonderful product that also has a warmer and makes hot chocolate, too. We drink hot chocolate almost daily in wintertime here, and I look forward to using this frother then. It’s easy to clean, easy to use, and very sturdy, and it works as I’d expect any Melitta product to work.
Great blending power, no bad things at all about this milk frother, milk warmer, hot chocolate maker, etc. I trust Melitta products and am certainly not disappointed in this one. This is a fine kitchen appliance that should last a lifetime. We’ve enjoyed it very much already. Even my dog likes a small bowl of warm milk at bedtime or a frothy bowl of cold milk, and I love having the ability to do that and also to use this with my espresso maker for cappucino.
I’d recommend this milk frother, milk warmer, etc. to anyone who enjoys cappucino or hot milk for hot chocolate or anything else. It can do so many things and does them all very well. I like the fact that the pitcher comes off the warmer, and that definitely makes it easier to clean. This is a wonderful product that completely lives up to the Melitta name and reputation.

This is my second frother, and I love it. It is so quiet, and makes a full cup of dense froth. I like the fact that the top removes and can be washed in the dishwasher.

I haven’t tried all the attachments but it does froth my oat creamer nicely for lattes

I searched and searched for the right frother/warmer combo and this is great. I like my coffee really hit, so really hot milk is essential. One round on hot milk and 1/2 round and hot froth and the milk is perfect. I use Lactaid milk, so the frothing might vary. I also really like the detachable stainless cup! Perfect in every way. 👌

Frothier still spins but the heat function doesn’t work anymore. I haven’t had it for more than 2 months. Just awful
