First of all, this is expensive but moreso the coffee pods are expensive. And coffee selection is limited. Yes, all true if you buy from Nespresso. Don’t do that. Buy from a place like Fresh Roasted Coffee and you have a better selection of good coffee for less cost (50 cents/pod). Note that each pod makes a very small volume of coffee, so you’re talking three pods per serving. Three pods at $1-$2 each makes an expensive mug of coffee, but at 50 cents each it becomes quite reasonable and better than what you could buy at a coffee shop. Yes, the good coffee selection makes it comparable to some coffee shop drip coffees or even Americano. I have not been brave enough to try this as an espresso with froth – don’t know if it will be strong enough.
For travel, this is excellent! I plan to use in my RV. Small space, QUICK good coffee (also means low power draw), and easy contained trash and cleanup! Beautiful for that use case. I want to figure how to re-use the pods which sounds messy, but just keeping used pods in a zip-lock bag is easy while traveling.
As a primary coffee maker I would say still too expensive per mug. I have an espresso machine for everyday home coffee.
I added my notes on the coffee pod varieties that came with the machine (see pic), but advise looking at Fresh Roasted Coffee pods for Nespresso – Italian Toast and Drago flavors were good for me.

Additionally, being a single-cup machine, it may not be the most efficient choice for serving a larger number of people. The machine is also limited to Nespresso pods, which might be a drawback for those who prefer using their own coffee grounds. Lastly, while the compact design is an advantage for small spaces, it could potentially limit the size of the cups or mugs you can use with the machine.
It can be easily cleaned and requires periodic descaling (can be easily done with descaling products).
From a design perspective, I rather prefer the Nespresso Essenza Mini Espresso Machine by Breville.

The machine is very small and light. It took 5 minutes to figure out how it works. It works very well. You have to empty the capsule container every 7 or so pods. Pay attention to that because the machine would work if the container is full. The noise level is low and pleasant and takes 30 sec to make a long cup. The frother is also very good and is silent. It frothes 3/4 of the milk that you pour in. It can also froth without heating it (hold the button longer). You can froth oat milk as well. Overall, it’s an excellent purchase. One caution: the company doesn’t include a recycling bag which is very sad: you have to place an order with nespresso and they will incude 2 free bags. If you do, use the coupon included in the printed materials.

Use fresh, clean and pure room temp water if you like your’s hotter.
Use a quality pod.
Makes either an expresso size or lungo size serving. The pic above is lungo.

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She uses it every day. It performs well, is fast, easy to use and doesn’t leak. The frother is totally worth to bundle with it – it’s a game changer. It was a little pricey, but it also was the cheapest bundle I found at the time for this exact machine. It also is compact which is what I was looking for since she doesn’t have much counter space – it fits perfectly. The box did come neaten up and showed exactly what it was, which is more of a shipping issue. Luckily, people around me don’t seem to steal packages.

This worked perfectly out of the box. Easy to use, intuitive, and haven’t messed-up a capsule yet! Infinitely better than the Inissia, which did not work out of the box, was fussy and unintuitive, and destroyed many capsules. The Essenza is a great looking and compact little workhorse.
