This machine is awesome! The only issue is with the frother. It tends to splatter at times. The Lattissima Grand does not have that problem but it is also more money.

I have used nesspreso coffee machines for a long time without any issues, but this one is really disappointing, after using it for around 4 months we started having issues with this machine (discaling process was not working properly), called nesspreso costumer service, made a video call with them so they can see the issue, after troubleshooting with them, they said it needed to get repaired, sent the coffee machine to them as requested for repair, after two weeks they sent it back to us and it had other issues this time (milk frosting was not working right and it was not completing the capuchino cycle), called again costumer service started to troubleshoot again, asked them for a replacement machine since it was already sent for repair and it still had issues, nesspreso did not want to replace the machine and requested to get it repair again, i even told them to make a video call so they can see the issue, they said had system issues and couldn’t make the call, after one hour on the phone they telling me to do this and that over and over again, just got tired…
I just will not use nesspreso again, never expect this kind of service…

First a little background! I have used a semi-automatic espresso machine for many years with mixed results. I purchased a Gaggia New Baby. Since I didn’t have a quality grinder I used Lavazza pre-ground espresso. Had a difficult time pulling good shots. Got rid of the plastic tamper and purchased a calibrated tamper. Better results but still far from ideal. Next, a scale to measure the grounds to ensure I was always using the same amount shot to shot. Consistent thick creama is still an issue. Finally I purchased a bottomless portafilter. Never could achieve a great shot on a regular basis. I was introduced to a new idea.
My son purchased a De’Longhi Nespresso machine and told me he always had great results. Can it be that a complete package can produce great espresso AND steamed milk and not cost a fortune? Yes, what I’m getting on a regular basis is as good as I’ve gotten from commercial machines costing thousands of dollars.
Highights: Fast warmup, excellent espresso and steamed milk (with silky smooth foam), easy maintenance, huge water tank, very solid construction (nothing flimsy here).
Needs improvements: Coffee could be a little hotter (my personal preference). I counter this by pre-heating the cups.

Im happy with my new nesspresso lattissima one because I did not pay full price.
I’m saying this because I have being using Nesspresso Vertuo and Nesspresso pods for Vertuo espresso are delicious but expensive and has not substitute on the market.
I decided to try original line so I can buy different pods and while I almost buy the most economical to Nesspresso store this one came out on half price from a great seller. I was expecting the worse because it saids if you use you don’t return and surprise, I bought in a Saturday and Tuesday was in my door, open the box and and color in the box was black I got scare and surprise, I opened the box and it was the beautiful white one I did bought. All brand new sealed and with 10 trying pods.
I’m enjoying great cappuccinos made in seconds and easy to clean. The latte are awesome too.
About the espresso’s . If you are a coffee drinker this are small and not so good like the Nesspresso vertuo pods. For me a little weak espressos.
If you only care for espresso buy another version of original Nesspresso , unless you got lucky like I did.
Now the good thing you can buy different brands of pods for this machine. Cuban pods are the best for me.
And and trying the nespresso originals pods only for a few days.

Great coffee machine, like the design but I think they have a factory problem with milk foamer, it worked for a few days then stopped.

Ordered 2 machines and delivery was quick. Unboxed and tried per instructions for the “best froth” use skim milk. This worked a couple of times and the machine stopped frothing. Read, Researched and then called customer svce. Big mistake. She kept asking if we have an account. I advised we just received it. She said to set up account So we did. Waste of time and I spent the next 40 minutes w her trouble shooting only to have her tell me I’m using the wrong milk and I can only use whole milk? She said “our site states this”? Bye the way it doesn’t. I searched and also advised her page 17 specifically states “for the best froth use skim milk”. She said “well that’s wrong”? Anyway. This went on for 40 min until I hung up frustrated.
After researching more my wife (yes she’s smarter than me) found more info on line about the same issue. The froth stops working if not using whole milk.
Update – we did try the whole milk and it works.
Love the machine. Great coffee but if you want to use anything other than whole milk it’s not for you. We tried 2% and skim as well. Only whole milk works.
**don’t waste time w customer service unless your very patient and have a lot of time to waste talking..well listening to someone tell you in the end to just return it to Amazon your within 30 days….

I wanted to like this! I have the Citiz and the frother separate and everyone loves my cappuccinos and lattes. I thought this would be easier so I got it, but ended up returning it. The experience isn’t much different than a manual setup, but I swear the taste isn’t as good because the Nespresso frother machine that they sell separately makes better foam and heats the milk better. This machine uses steam to push it up and out and kind of just does it without considering end temp. Idk. I use half and half and maybe that was too much for the machine. The espresso part was great though.

While the convenience of Nespresso capsules and the machine’s user-friendly interface are definite positives, they can’t compensate for the subpar build and questionable durability. It’s unfortunate that such an essential appliance fails to meet expectations in these crucial aspects.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Nespresso Lattissima One due to its lower-than-expected quality and durability. If you’re seeking a coffee machine that will stand the test of time, I suggest looking elsewhere.
