Long-term review: As an espresso enthusiast, the Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe by Breville has easily become another coffee-making device that sees limited use only for espresso drinks but not coffee. The design and user-friendly interface make it easy to pull an espresso “shot” every single time. The convenience of the pods eliminates any mess or guesswork, ensuring consistent quality with each brew. The good news is that this machine works just as good today as it did when I bought it a couple of years ago!
Plus, the included milk frother has come in handy to not only make decent cappuccinos and lattes but also adds a new level to drip coffee made from my other coffee maker.
Where this machine falls a bit short is in its ability to brew a stellar cup of coffee. While it’s not terrible by any means, the flavor and strength of the coffee it produces are just average. The range of coffee pods seems somewhat limited, and if you’re someone who relishes a robust morning cup, you might find yourself slightly disappointed. I had hoped that the VertuoPlus line wasn’t just Nespresso’s decision to get past it’s expired patent for the previous line of Nespresso pods. However, the selection in pods has not met my hopes. I decided not to be adventurous with this one to try re-usable pods like I did with an old, retired Keurig. We now just let this machine sit back as only part of our very specific espresso drink indulgence until I finally splurge and buy a pricier espresso machine.
In summary, if your primary focus is on crafting impeccable espresso-based beverages with minimal effort, this Nespresso machine is adequate. But, if you’re equally passionate about your daily cup of coffee and seek good flavors, you might want to consider other options.

After a friend told me about her Nespresso machine, I had to give it a shot. I did wait until it went on sale, but after having this machine for a while I would pay full price for it! The machine is fast to heat up and brew the coffee or espresso. This is excellent if you’re in a rush or inpatient like me 😅. I haven’t officially timed it but I think from start to finish is about 2 minutes.
You do get a nice starter pack of pods to see what floats your boat. The quality of the coffee and espresso is fantastic! Plus the milk frother that comes with it is near silent and makes excellent foam hot or cold. And let me just say the machine is dang quiet too. I truly look forward to making my coffee every morning. Some people may say the pods are expensive but where can you go for a latte, let alone a cup of coffee for under $2!! This is truly one of my best purchases of 2023!

Box was literally pulled off the warehouse shelf and sent out. The foam for the protection was so busted up in pieces. The water reservoir was cracked and damaged. I did use it for couple weeks but then they reservoir was leaking bad.Had to send it back.. I’m sure this was an isolated case but this was a $275.00 coffee machine with tax 😂 I did purchase another one and put it side-by-side next to make Keurig machine. Coffee is a bit expensive something you might use just on the weekends but totally worth it and extremely delicious.. I only use Brevell products for my countertop appliances

I absolutely love my Nespresso machine. I no longer go by lattes every day since I’ve had this. This has been a great value for the money as I am saving money each use. The reservoir to store water is quite large and I don’t have to fill it often. It is also not very noisy to use. Espresso is delicious and you have tons of options to choose from.

Was first introduced to this brand and product a few week ago during a stay at a friend’s home. I ordered it and the milk frother right away as I just fell in love with the ease, and most importantly the flavor of the coffee! I was skeptical with the quality of the coffee before I tried them but holy cow, what a nice surprise! There is nothing about this product and the coffee it produces that I do not like. My regular coffee maker is a Breville product and the VertuoPlus Deluxe Coffee and Espresso Machine by Breville lives up to the same amazing standards. It is a 100% quality product all the way.

Coffee machine works as it should. I had been thinking about getting a nespresso machine for a while and jumped on it when I saw it on sale for prime day. I wish I had done more research though, since I didn’t realize there were so many nespresso models to choose from. This one only brews a max cup size of just under 8oz, which is smaller than I prefer. You can’t just pop in a pod like a Kcup and choose your strength and ounces since the pods are coded. Also, the pods are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than Kcups. I have no complaints about the machine itself, but would recommend others to do their research before buying to ensure you’re getting what you expect and want.

This was a gift for a family member for Christmas. They really enjoyed the gift and said “this gift won the gift of the year for our family”, and it provides a great cup of flavorful coffee.
