My only complaint is how slow it is but once I got the right amount of coffee & correct grind the Rich setting is exactly what I was looking for. Previous to this purchase I had the one cup version that made the perfect cup of coffee. Needed a coffee maker that made multiple cups so I naturally went with this larger version but it took lots of coffee making to get several cups to taste like that one cupper.

I like making my coffee the night before!.. Its the easiest coffee maker to program, and it remembers the 4 hr. Shut off setting I have in place for the hot plate.
Best of all the back chamber, for water fill prevents coffee grounds from getting in the water, if you over fill it.. I’m smitten by this machine! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

So I had guests coming from overseas, and I didnโ€™t want to be messing around with the Keurig a million times a day so zi bought this little beauty. Now my guests have left, and it was the Keurig that I put away and kept this bad boy out for use. Capably of brewing 12 cups of rich smooth coffee itโ€™s the perfect replacement for the single serve beast that was the Keurig.

Itโ€™s easy to clean, easy to use and u til I can afford my own in-home barista will be my machine of choice!

Maybe I am being picky but it seems the coffee is just not that hot. I check it with a meat thermometer and it was 170 degrees which is within standard guidelines. After researching the web, ideally coffee should be around 195 to 205 degrees, any hotter it will scald the coffee. So, it seems the coffee maker is about 20-25 degrees off the ideal temp. That said, there is another article that suggests 155 to 175F as the ideal temp. Anyway, it must be me.
Now, for the coffee maker itself, the machine is really very well made. A lot of thought has gone into its design. The removal water cage is a delight and easy to fill. There is a measuring spoon built into the unit for exact measuring (one tbsp per cup) The coffee craft is rock solid and sturdy as can be. The size of the unit does not overpower your countertop. All in all, it is a great unit. I just have to figure out what temperature is correct but in any event, it comes out at 170F.

Second review; We had the coffee maker for about a week now. Nothing has changed regarding the temperature of the coffee. It remains 170 degrees and becomes lukewarm in a few minutes after pouring in a cup. We are extremely unhappy and disappointed in the unit. Sorry, we purchased it.

Update: We tried to like this coffee maker and kept it for a little while to see if things improved but we are returning it today. 09/06/2022. Don’t know if it is a defected unit of not but will not buy this make again.

And its second cleaning we are still very happy.
Not keeping this system clean can cause slow brewing times and even leaking on to the counter surface.
This product has a clean function you have to follow.
Pour white distilled vinegar to the 3 cup level approx.
Using distilled or purified water fill to 12 cups and push clean function button.

Anyone on Texas Gulf Coast knows if you use bottled water you have to use bleach occasionally in your bottles and dispenser tank to prevent algae or mold growth.
The same is true for this water reservoir .
You just pour about a 1/4 in. in the tank and let it sit about 5 min., then flush with plenty of soap and water.
If you keep this coffee system you will get great service and great coffee.

I always try to buy refurbished…never had any issues. Came like new. Works fantastic. Love the refillable removable water reservoir

Unexpected guests and you need a quick pot of coffee? Well to bad! You can’t get that here; takes 45 minutes to brew a full 12 cup pot of coffee. OH WAIT!? No matter how full you fill it, you’re only going to get 10 cups! I tried both settings before writing this review; classic brew & rich brew. Both only gives me 10 cups of coffee. It also takes about 15 minutes to brew TWO cups! I bought this pot on September 13, 2020 – three weeks shy of a year ago. I do not know what happened and what changed, but for $100 I expected it to last a LOT longer. This has cut out my after work cup of coffee because now my husband and I use all 10 cups it gives me on our morning to go cups (yes, I drink 8 hour old coffee in the evenings….don’t start with me, I’m a cup shy of daily required coffee!) Anyhoo, the removable water reservoir was the reason I chose this one, and I do so love that feature. I even bought a slide out tray for the pot to sit on so that I don’t have to move it out from under the cabinet every time I make coffee. Yes, I’m lazy. But I’m glad I got it because the pot started steaming so badly that I can’t let it brew under my wood cabinets! All in all…great for about six months for mine. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve gotta shop for a new coffee that’s not going to leave me short in the evenings.

We had a Ninja coffee maker for a few years and loved it. But it was used when we bought it, and finally it gave up the ghost. So I saw this one in Amazon and got it right away. Works great, like it should, and makes fantastic coffee! I like how you can take the water reservoir off to clean, and the other neat things about it, like selectable brew strength, and timers, etc. Love this coffee pot!

I was upset when I realized that I’d purchased a refurbished unit by mistake, but it looks like new and works fine. It didn’t include the mesh filter, which I’m fine with as I don’t use it anyhow. It also didn’t include the integrated scoop that goes on the side of the unit. Brew time for 12 cups is about 10-12 minutes and it was easy to use once I figured out that I needed to press the power on button before pre-setting or operating it. Cleaning cycle takes a long time. Does let off a lot of steam as others have said. I chose this model for the removable water reservoir, as I hate having to clean the carafe if I want to immediately run another pot and then having water pour everywhere every time I filled a machine using the carafe. My old unit would also backflow coffee grounds into the clean water reservoir. Happy to no longer have to deal with these issues. I have no complaints other than I wish they’d included the scoop or cover for the scoop storage area so that there’s not a huge opening exposed on the side.

The coffee comes out nice and hot.
