Overall 5/5, love them, buying a 3rd set soon (5/10/24) because they keep getting “not returned” by family and friends from parties and holidays lol.
Pros:
– Vents: I love this feature, especially microwaving liquids that pop or explode at work so no mess everywhere. Also for afterwards when other pop off the lid.
– Thickness / strength
– Multiple sizes (in this purchase and overall for sets)
Cons:
– Pricier than others available.
– Storage space like normal tupperware.
– “Stacking” or “clicking” them together where the lid sticks to the bottom of the one on top is impossible I swear. I don’t find it all that useful anyways so this is not a deal breaker for me, but someone else could see that.

These Rubbermaid 60-Piece Food Storage Containers with Easy Find Lids, Salad Dressing, Condiment, and Microwaveable Containers, Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free, Stain Resistant are great. I love the way the lids fit multiple bowls. My cabinet was so cluttered with bowls and lids. I had glass and plastic. Some stacked together but they mostly sat jumbled up and many times falling out. It was so frustrating. I finally broke down and shopped for a solution. I am so glad I did. These are neatly stacked and organized. They make it so much easier to store food.
The actual bowls with lids are great. They seal so tightly and I really love the flap on top that can be opened to push excess air our of the container then closed to keep an airtight seal.
A great solution and I highly recommend them.

These are my all time favorite Rubbermaid containers. They don’t leak, the lids fit very well. They are dishwasher safe, freezer and microwave safe too. The plastic is heavy duty and even if you drop them they do not crack. The snap on lids are very convenient for storing and organizing your kitchen. Absolutely recommend and will never change to another product in this house.

This is our second set from Rubbermaid. We had the original red and clear ones and we were super surprised to see another color offered, so we swapped them out. We’ve tried a lot of different brands over the years and end up coming back to these. Easy to store, wash, and use. The seal is leakproof. We have a few we use other than for food storage so it’s nice that they’re so versatile.

Great little set and a fairly good price. Seem to last quite awhile. They stack up great, saves a lot of space. Only real issue is they will stain depending on what you put in there but I feel that’s most plastics but they are cheap enough you can just get a new set.

I’ve purchased this same line of bowls several times over the last 15 years. The price is great for the amount of containers received. I do wish there was one larger bowl incuded (like a 4 qt). They last for years even with occasionally being used in the microwave (I try not to microwave pastics).

I own two sets of these. Buying a 3rd set today. I’ve thrown out all of my other storage containers. These are the solution I have been looking for. My refrigerator is continuously hosting these containers: cuttings, left overs, ready-to-eat foods. I find that these containers enable a kitchen workflow that other containers cannot match. First of all while there are 7 sizes of containers, there are only 4 sizes of lids…brilliant! Now I don’t have to dig around trying to find a container with its matching lid. This system has changed the workflow in my kitchen. Before food storage was an afterthought. Now, when cooking, I set out a number of these containers in anticipation. If the dish calls for celery, instead of chopping up a couple of stalks, I chop the entire head into a pint container and throw a handful into the pot. The reset goes into the fridge for the next dish. I find that if I cook three dinners I can eat out of the fridge for the rest of the week. We all eat better for less money.
While these containers are advertised as dishwasher safe, I’ve found that this does not work that well. They will survive the dishwasher just find, but they are light and so get blown around during the cycle. Much better just to hand wash them.
What would make this system better is a way to mark expiration date on the containers. I have so many containers in motion it is hard to tell how long an individual container has been stored. I’m going to experiment with a few things: colored dots, erasable markers. At the moment this is an unsolved problem.

PROS
– durable
– seal tight
– no gasket that can grow moldy
CONS
– lid is harder to open and close the smallest containers
– if put in the freezer, they become brittle and will shatter if dropped
These rubbermaid food storage are made with thick durable material. I use some of them to store non food gadgets.
I use them to store left-over food and put them in the freezer. However I have to be careful because I once dropped one and the bottom part cracked. At non freezing temperature, they are tough.
For the seal test, I put water into one and squeeze. No leak. Only tested the one with no opening in the lid.

I found them to be too small but decided to keep them. Found the small one were great for sauces and dips they keep thing fresh, seals very well. Would like larger one but I feel the are a bit expensive so I’ll have to wait. They are worth it love the red color and the fact that they are sturdy

I bought these to use to transport prepped food, for a senior citizen that I take care of. They are super sturdy, not flimsy! The clear plastic sides make it easy to “see” the contents. The lids are tight fitting but not “crazy tight” so you can’t get them on or off easily. Some of the containers have “vent” lids… which are nice for microwaving. The varied sizes are perfect for everything from large cuts of meat or big salads… to tidbits of leftovers or small amounts of sauces. No better quality, as far as I’m concerned! I’ve bought a couple of sets… I’ll probably buy more… just to KNOW I’ve got them handy and ready “to go”.
